I agree with most everything you've said about Clent, but sometimes, I think you're becoming a Clent apologist.    You must purge your Wooly inside you.

There is no Wooly disappointment, though I'll admit I was a Woolite and I'm still partial to him.  However, he needed to go and probably should've been gone after year 4 or 5. 

And yeah, I'm a Clent defender, though I realize I'm not going to change anyone's mind so I don't get too crazy about it.  I really can't defend the numbers that Clent put up the last half of the conference season; they weren't very good and I think Pullen should've played more.  Our guards weren't very good this year and they were the downfall of this team, so in the end I wish Martin would've been willing to be a little more patient with Pullen and give him more minutes b/c he was by far our best playmaker outside of Beasley/Walker.

You are a good fan, but your track record indicates that you are either: 1) the worst evaluator of talent (coach & player) I have ever seen or 2) too nice to pull the trigger/cut your losses. 

In either case, you are still a good guy in my book.

Clent played good defense, and I think Pullen doesn't.  I also think Clent did better running the offense, but was easily picked due to poor skills of keeping the ball closer to his body when he drives to the basket.

I really appreciate what Clent did for the program, and he put up with more than any other player and still started.  Just wished he'd have been a more consistent 3 point threat.
