I love Clent, but IMO he was the SLTH of point guards.
That's a pretty good analogy.
That's fair, but I'll take it further. He's probably as close to the player form of Wooly as you can get.

I agree with most everything you've said about Clent, but sometimes, I think you're becoming a Clent apologist. You must purge your Wooly inside you.
There is no Wooly disappointment, though I'll admit I was a Woolite and I'm still partial to him. However, he needed to go and probably should've been gone after year 4 or 5.
And yeah, I'm a Clent defender, though I realize I'm not going to change anyone's mind so I don't get too crazy about it. I really can't defend the numbers that Clent put up the last half of the conference season; they weren't very good and I think Pullen should've played more. Our guards weren't very good this year and they were the downfall of this team, so in the end I wish Martin would've been willing to be a little more patient with Pullen and give him more minutes b/c he was by far our best playmaker outside of Beasley/Walker.
