Incredible...simply incredible.

Words just can't explain what he's done for K-State.

I am glad he choose K-State, it has been a fun season. I would love to see him stay, but all signs point to going pro.

You will always be a Wildcat & I will cheer you on in the NBA!!!

I've never had more fun watching a college basketball player.  Simply amazing talent.  I look forward to watching his 15 year NBA career with multiple all-star appearances.
"Kids used to hit him and stab him with pencils," says Harley Bennett, Jason's father. "Finally I told him he had to stick up for himself. Jason is not a violent person. One day he hit one of the kids back and got suspended."

He's had a great season, but if we don't keep getting high level recruits (we have no one for next year) and make the NCAA tourney in the next 2 years, what has he done?  I mean the CBS guys still mess up our name and mascot, and no one knows who we are.  They know Beasley and that he'll only be here a year.  If we lose Mike and Bill I see this program in not that much better of a place than it was before they came.

Come on.  3 of the more embarrassing streaks associated with KSU athletics were ended this season, and all 3 of them would not be possible without Mike.  Apathy, IMO, is no more.

He did way more than would have happened had he not come.  Its not hard to make a SLTH and try to come up through the ranks of the NIT like Nebraska or Iowa State...and if we hadn't hired Martin that is where we would have been.  He played his ass off for a season, was the best player in the country and took us to the NCAA tournament.  He put us on a stage, now its up to Frank and Dalonte to try and keep it going.  They can start with convincing Bill he needs one more year.

Absolutely Saul.  Those streaks were the bane of every fan.  All done.  We'll have dips in the road, but I'm very happy with this season.

Also huge props to Ms. Smith.  I don't really know you, but I remember some of your first posts when Dokish and every other idiot was saying Mike would never play for us.  You were a person of your word, and gave us a brief, but interesting look at your lives.

You will always be a part of the KSU family.

Hope you and your families life will be great.  Nice to see good things happen to good people.

Finally, and most sincerely.

THANK YOU

I like the streaks going away too, but if they'll just get restarted next year it's still pretty depressing to me.

best college player i've ever seen.  every game was amazing all over again.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Don't want to offend you, but maybe your take would be better in another thread.  This should be about Mike.  If Mike does leave, he's no longer part of the future.  We should all take a little time to reflect what this incredible person has done for us as fans as well as the university.

Thanks Mr. Beasley without you I would have begin to believe that bringing great things to manhattan was impossible watching you is almost better then watching us win a nat'l title. Do us all a favor dunk over some jayhawks next year...
