My buddy came into Lawrence yesterday, and we were going to go downtown and watch the Hawks game at B-Dubs. We figured it was the best place to wear our purple and piss some people off.  We get there, and there isn't a seat in the house. So, we decided to go to this pizza place down the street that had like one TV, so we figured we could get a seat there. About 15 minutes after we got there, this guy comes in, doesn't order any food, he just walks straight over to our table. He asks us what we are doing for the KSU game, and we told him that we were just going to my folks' place to watch it. So, he asks us if we want some tickets. Obviously we did, so we asked him how much? He told us free. Gave us the tickets and walked out of the restaurant. They were tickets for the game on the 5th row. Most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. Divine intervention my friends. :ksu:

WOW. Opposite of what happened to me last time I went down Mass Street. Last year when we were playing uk in the BXII tourny I was visiting a friend and thought I'd be cool and wear purple. I was turning more heads than those asshole liberals and dykes that polute that area! One guy even yelled at me "get off the sidewalk hippie!" which made me confused.

No offense, but being called a hippie in lawrence doesn't exactly speak well of you.  That's akin to being called a racist in Alabama, or a queer in south beach, by locals.
