Wiscy=great matchup

This team is HUGE. They're your typical big 10 team with tons of size and height, but not a ton of athletic guys. They have a few guys who might be able to matchup with Beas/Walker,  but athletically KSU has a nice advantage in this game.

If KSU can play the same kind of D they did vs. usc, I see no reason they cant win this game.  Wiscy doesnt go on huge runs like uk does, they usually just beat you up and then butch puts in a dagger 3 ( ).

Game sets up well for ksu if they can knock down some perimeter shots and get the effort off the bench like they did in game 1.  Pullen will be major factor (win or lose) in this game.

Bad bad matchup. We get torched by white guys on hot streaks.

Looking at Wisonsins lineup...there are plenty of threats ::cough:: white guys ::cough:: in their lineup. I figure one or two of them will have career games.

So if they are a "beat you up", physical kind of team then I would think this game hinges on 2 things:  Walker's ability to not overreact and Mike's ability to avoid foul trouble.

They have, like, seven Cole Aldrich's on their team.  They just kept shuffling them in and out like they had an endless supply of really pasty skinned tall guys.

We need to be prepared to be doing great in the first half and then stave them off in the second.  The few Wisc. games I've seen Wisconsin looks lethargic until the last 10 minutes and then wins handily.

Fullerton was constantly getting in the lane....Jake and Bill need to take advantage of this.

Wisc. also like to shot the ball quickly. If our d can force them to go 12+ seconds into their shot clock then they are in trouble. Fullerton had good pressure (not great) on the ball and it gave Wisc. fits. We are longer and more athletic than Fullerton. If we play at 80% of what we did against USC we can win this game.

Bill Walker is a nightmare match up for Bo Ryan to handle. Slower un-athletic white guys = foul trouble for Wisc.

KSUFans has been like that ever since I can remember. Big win, then everyone gets overly optimistic- perfectly setting themselves up for a meltdown. What do you expect though? USC was a big win. Most people didn't think this team would start playing well again, and now that they are fans have every reason to be optimistic.
