I feel kind of bad for all those players at K-State who never got to play in the big dance, because we never could get over the hump, especially the guys who really deserved it: Guys like Cartier, Jeremiah ... even Hoskins, since he's not playing. Who else would you dedicate this game to??

"That said..."

That's weird... I instinctively ordered 3 Wild Turkeys when the Cat's won. I was by myself.

Sentimental BS.

If they had been better they would have gotten to play in the tourney.

We almost didn't get into the tourney this year and that's with having the best player in college basketball. There are guys who played well enough individually, but it has been the team (and coaches) that was not good enough to get in. If you have players you admired and thought they deserved the reward of playing in the tourney, mention them, if not, don't bother replying.

He was, but I think Huggins straighted him out (I still think he's a &@#%ing drunk bastard.)  I'm glad and also sympathetic for Hoskins getting to watch that game last night.

I still want my cooler, bitches!

We have been almost a lock for the tourney since January.

Are you defending the phog? wow...

No, it seems like it because it is stupid, pointless, and overly sentimental.

Also, you are a douche, much like many of the posters on the phog.

    I use gmail~
I have the utmost respect for Cartier Martin and Jeremiah Massey as far as opponents ku played against. Those two guys are phenomenal athletes, team leaders, etc. I'd pull a Dickie-V and applaud both of them. Never had phenomenal talent around themselves, and did a lot of work with a lot of heart. Beasley is in that category. I have no qualms for a guy to talk trash and motivate himself and the players around him on the court. You're not here to say "well, we stand a good chance of winning..." You're here to win. Why people get so bent out of shape over someone making guarantees I don't know, but you should be able to speak about that kind of confidence as a player. You should want to play with a guy who thinks you can, and isn't afraid of speaking publicly.

Whatever, I don't root for K-state but I afford the respect players deserve.
