This guy's logic is staggering.  Imagine K-State fans being upset that the ku fans didn't come and sell out the Bram.

The question is: When single-game tickets go on sale Aug. 1, will K-State fans pay the piper, or will they wait to see which way the wind is blowing?

Fear not squawks.  We'll be there.

I can answer his question.

There is no way in hell I'm paying 65 bucks a seat to sit in that stadium.

My hope is that one of the teams is worth a crap so it's on TV and I'll tailgate and spend the extra on beer.

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Will Goldy be attending this game, or the K-State/ku football game before this one?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Apparently scoreboard is not a term in Squawkland.  I guess this means our basketball team is MUCH better than ku's since they actually won a game against the other last year.

But really, $65 is just too rich for my blood this year.  Even if K-State and ku were ranked #1 and #2 going in to the game, I still wouldn't be able to afford it.

We are talking about a fanbase ... ku, that had 8,000 empty seats on bowl eligible saturday, and another 4,000 plus were occupied by ISU fans.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

In addition, that day probably had the best weather of any Saturday during last football season.  I guess there must have been a big sale at Banana Republic or something.

you know what would be great is if we could get all the kstate fans to just take over the hill and not buy a single ticket.  stick it to the ku athl dept but still show up and cheer.

Sticking it to ku would be bringing 15K fans to their stadium.

Ordered my tix when I ordered my season tickets. There will be very few beer-free weekends this year.

28,000 empty seats for their first trip to Arrowhead and 8,000 Plus that were there, were OU fans.

for a game that was included in ku's season ticket package, no less.
