They're doing everything they can to give this game to the Corn.

Errors, wild pitches.

Really knocking the cover off the ball this series as well.

Sure . . . but it's what??  Year 4 or 5 now with Hill??  This was SUPPOSED to be the year, and they just got swept at home by a mediocre Corn team.  Very mediocre early season, getting off to a bad start in conference play, they've already dug themselves a hole in regards to getting K-State's first ever NCAA bid.

I see ksu improving after this series though. NU has had a great start so far and ksu played well in both game 1 and 3. Just got to finish games. Shore up the little things and they will improve.

When did Jim Wooldridge start coaching baseball?

What's next extended trips to Jamaica to scrounge up decent Carribean talent?

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't sucking at the little things been a B. Hill trademark?

Less walks and more bad baserunning on offensive

walk a ton of opposing hitters, filed horribly, wild pitches and even botched rundowns on defense?

If you want to know what's next, look at Wooly's neck brace season.

The funny thing is, Hill was suppossed to clean up all the stuff that had been KSU's downfall during the Clark regime, all the silly little mistakes and errors.   Yet, yesterday they had like 2 or 3 wild pitches in one inning and a couple of others that were close.  2 errors as well yesterday.

K-State Season Stats as compared to all Big 12 Schools:

-Last in the Big 12 in Batting

-Next to last in team pitching

-2nd worst team fielding, and 2nd most errors.

Not a fan of Clark.  He has season bball tickets next to us (although he never sits there), but for the ku game, he gave the tickets to some ku friends.   :curse:

Really a surprise, though?

This fan base will sit by and complacently accept mediocrity when it comes to athletics better than any BCS school in the country.

The decade of idiocy spanning the Altman,Asbury, and Wooldridge eras in basketball and the 75 years before Bill Snyder in football should firmly cement the point.

My point was exactly that...Hill was supposed to clean up the horried fundamentals but they are just as bad and Hill has now realized, there are no repercussions to not performing.  Clark has just passed this down and Hill is now the happy beneficiary.  Congrats Brad, you have learned a not so well kept secret.  The admin here at KSU is happy with the Carl Peterson version of a 5 year plan.

Just like Carl except without all the sellouts and astronomical revenue stream.

Seriously, find me another BCS conference institution in America that finishes dead last in cumulative sports standings year after year and the majority of the fan base and more importantly the administration could really care less.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.

It is a midwest/plains thing.  Look at the KC Royals and the Chiefs, look at ku/KSU.

Mediocrity isn't accepted, it is celebrated.  We are the most golly-shucks, sentimental suckers in the world.

The majority of people to this day are not angry with Mike Sweeney (tough luck guy, always injured), The Glass family (Huh?  We got a new GM!  WE GOT JOSE GUILLEN! LOOK AT OUR RETURNING PITCHING!) or the Hunt family (what a bunch of nice old people.  CARL IS THE ENEMY!)

David Stern is loving the possibility of moving Seattle to OKC for this exact reason.  Did you hear much pooh-poohing of the ridiculous stadium project in KC?  Not enough to stop it from passing!

OKC will lap this stinky butt juice up with the rest of us, Seattle?  Too wise.

Like I've said before, all the built-in excuses for K-State baseball are pretty much gone.  Yeah, other schools have nicer facilities and such, but now at least K-State has the equivalent of a nice DLP 720p Big Screen as compared to many other schools 1080p Plasma Screens, instead of an old Zenith Black and White as compared to many other schools 1080p Plasma Screens.  There's no reason NOT to see some marked improvement at this juncture out of Hill's program.   We still may see it, but so far . . . not so good.

Yes. In his defense, they were kids (preteens).
