    The very best.
Bump this thread please.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

How can you miss an uncontested lay-up? Pullen has 13 points & playing real well, hopefully Martin sees the light at the end of the tunnel.

Yeah he's been awful.  Does he seriously do anything better Pullen?

This thread is horrid. Really, by now we know what Clent brings to the table - he has started 100+ games for us. Obviously he is not as dynamic and athletic as Pullen and will not put up 20. He'll even miss an easy shot from time to time - but these have been going on for almost 4 complete seasons. If Pullen had the experience Stewart does he would play major minutes with Clent serving as his backup, but for now we gain experience in Clent, which is something we are severely lacking. We especially need it on the road.....

Come on man, are you really throwing out that experience cliche bullcrap.  In most cases it would apply, but not in this case. It wasn't Clent's experience that got us that 9 point lead, it was Pullen's 13 points.

I don't think anyone cares if he's dynamic, athletic or misses an easy shot...I WANT HIM TO QUIT TURNING THE FRACKING BALL OVER!!!

In the context of this game, you can argue that Pullen needs to be on the floor - but my main argument is that he does not need to be a starter this season.....

bump

I am done defending Stew.    2 turnovers in the final 5 minutes, then he is dribbling around with us up 69-66 when he should be getting the ball to Beasley.

11 for 47 since he came back to the team.

This is a senior and a freaking 4 yr starter.   Thank god for Jacob Pullen.

We only had eleven TO's, but it seemed like Clent had 12 on his own.

Not it's not. He's destroying our team, and is just pathetic.

I'll just say you are great at youtube videos.

Jake should be playing more minutes and he had a great game today, but Clent is not going away.  I was even saying Jake needed to play more minutes.

You're just mad your clent love is making you look terrible.

I understand, it happens to me sometimes (my walker love, pasco love back in the day...etc...)

Yeah, no excuses.

He hasn't had any injuries, wait...

He hasn't had any life changing events, wait...

He's not Mike freaking Beasley here, you're just a bunch of spoiled fans.  Next year the hate fest for the whole team will be epic.

The most ironic aspect of this hate fest is many were praising Clent (among others) getting his stroke back as a primary reason for our early BIG 12 run.  Now after some hardships he's struggling with his stroke again, KSU needs that stroke back to win any game against top 25 competition.  So put your vagina's away, and leave the hyperbole to the ku fans.

Frank Martin claimed on 810 the other day that it was Clent's superior defensive skills and leadership that kept him above Jacob.  Petro tried to prop up JP, but Frank would have none of it.  Quite frankly I do not understand Frank's stubborness on this point.  It is clear to everyone but him that this team operates better with JP on the floor.  And oh, by the way, more points, more assists and fewer turnovers is generally a good thing.

That alley-oop dunk when Stewart fouled was dumb! Yes it was a gay little touch foul, but as a Senior leader you should know better than that, if the guy is that close to the basket, don't touch him!

I am a Stewart fan, but he has been sucking really bad. He has been missing lay-ups & short range running jumpers. We need him to hit some shots. Pullen needs to start real bad over Stewart.

No one is saying Jake isn't a better player and shouldn't be playing 30 minutes.  But Clent is going to play his 30 minutes too, so the crap gets old.

I don't think it's being unreasonable to say Clent was really bad out there today.  Although he did have 4 assists.

It is obvious that most of you are young.  We just locked up our first NCAA tournament appearance in 12 years and all some of you can do is bitch about Clent.

Who the f cares!

Because the Clent lovers have no problem bashing Walker.

As much as I hate to say it our team will benefit from him being gone next year.  He was probably better as a freshman.

At a minimum he can just not turn the ball over.  At a minimum.  As a &@#%ing senior, the minimum thing he could do, no matter if his shot is off or if he has a bad hammy or if his mom passed away is just not turn it over.
