Witherspoon, considered one of the top unsigned high school players in the country, said he isn’t worried about the fact that Virginia presently at the 13-scholarship maximum.“They told me that if it came down to [committing to Virginia], then they’d make it happen,” Witherspoon said. “If I was ready to make that decision, then they’d make it happen.”
his list of visit schools is a little weird (uva the oddest).
The only thing weird is that KSU was recruiting him before anyone and isn't on it. Frank and 'Te suck.

Also of note is Gerry Hamilton's report ($) that 2008 prospect Wesley Witherspoon is making his official visit this weekend during the Oklahoma State game. Joining him will be the #1 prospect in the 2009 class, Renardo Sidney.LONGHORN BASKETBALL FANS PLEASE NOTE: The University will be going on Spring Break after this week's classes, which could make for an incredibly empty Drum this Sunday when these critical recruits visit campus. A few things you can do to help: 1. Go to the freaking game. If you can go? Go. Even if you prefer watching the hoops on TV - go to this game. 2. Tell everyone you know to go to the game. Bribe, if necessary. 3. Make signs for these recruits. Start chants. Do the "We are not worthy!" bow. If you bring your girlfriend, have her beg for an autograph on her chest. Just do something drastic to make these kids feel like they're desperately wanted.
It will be worsier when we lose Judge and McG. to Georgetown (or something)
relevance?
Frank's 2008 recruiting is abysmal. The upcoming loss against ISU is just making it more depressing.
When that happens, we should just throw $1.5 million at the ultimate SLTH (sadler). F*ck. Us.
Quote from: Rusty on March 06, 2008, 08:16:06 AMrelevance?ww plans on visiting uf. they don't seem terribly likely to have an open scholarship. slightly odd choice.how can you lose the conversation theme in a 5 post thread?Quote from: Rusty on March 06, 2008, 08:16:06 AMFrank's 2008 recruiting is abysmal. holding out for... evans and bowman. but yeah, '08 recruiting is a trainwreck.the reverse comment was w. re. to isu 100% loss, beasley returning, etc.
I agree with Rusty on the ISU loss.
Evans is as much as a pipe dream as Spoon, and Bowman has freaking committed to Maryland.
ksu is a better team than isu, therefore they will beat them.now outline your thoughts to the contrary.
We should not be favored over any Big 12 team on the road (even CU at this point).

Baffling how home and away records end up the way they do right in the face of this factor

has been shooting like retards for about a 5 games now.
the only 2 teams comparable to isu bad were cu and mu.1-1 in those games. hard to understand the "guaranteed loss" rationale based on that.
