    The very best.
Huggins on the roughly 10,000 season tickets ordered, an increase of more than 3,000 from last season: “It’s not enough. I hate empty seats.”

Start buying tickets.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

My brother and I have yet to buy ours.  We're working on it.

Bramlage seats what, 13,300?  Only 3,300 left.

Renewals were due the other day, so I would imagine seat assignments will be starting to get handed out in the next few weeks..

13,340 is capacity at the Fred.   There is no reason that we sould draw under 12K for any of the big 12 games.

No dice-
I've said it all along...Wieser/Wefald have done their parts, Huggins certainly will do his, it's the fans that are on the hook for the rest and I'm not convinced we're going to live up to our end of the bargain.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

If football goes the way I'm anticipating, we should have no problem filling the place for basketball.

biggest problem, with gas prices they way they are, are gonna be those weeknight games, especially non-con.  hell, i already got my tickets but i probably won't go to all the games because its gonna cost me $25 min for a round trip from kc...hard to justify that for cleveland st or maryland eastern shore...ect.

There's a lot of reasons why the place won't fill up nightly, and I'm not saying they aren't justified, but how bad do we really want this?

when i lived in manhattan i never missed a game- exhibition, christmas break, whatever.

when you graduate, get a real job, and live 2 hours away...you'll find that 4 hour round trip on a weeknight to watch a putzy non-con game (esp when its on tv) is a total waste of time.

i'd be super curious to see how quickly ku's sell out streak would end if they had to relocate to ft. scott for a season.

I guess when Prince wins eight games, then, it will be because of his masterful coaching abilities, eh?

Quit yer &@#%in' whining.  I can introduce you to someone who's been gone for years, lives 1200 miles away, and has flown back for every football game and damn near every basketball game since the day he left.  You're clearly just not a real fan. :ku:

I haven't been back for every football game and basketball game.. but nice of you to think of me that way.

You all need to stop whining about gas prices.  Stop spending your money on bottled water, and you'll find that you'll have plenty of money for gas.

And only eat Ramen.

It is how I will afford my luxury apartment, Digital Cable and my girlfriend next semester.

KatKid - Don't forget to budget for a patch kit for the "girlfriend".

And MJ I wasn't talking about you but you probably know the person in question if you've ever attended any of the Cactus Cats events.

Really, the mid-week bummer games are pretty fun.  They usually aren't on TV, and I like to see the games and since that computer deal the school has isn't real reliable, etc...

Wife and I like to take that time to "catch up"..usually so busy with other BS when we're at home, we don't get to talk much, so the time in the car is welcomed.

That being said, KSU needs to get on the ball with figuring out a "ticket turn back" system...they've supposedly been working on it for a few years...time to get it done.

After I saw that headline, it got me thinking...

I remember driving to Manhattan many times thinking "Why in the hell am I wasting my time?" This would come before games such as Stephen F. Austin, Bethune-Cookman, and just about every Big XII game in the middle of the season that I knew we would lose.

It will be nice not to have that feeling again.

Those "Plan B" pills are kind of misleading.  Once we found out her insurance covered them and they were readily available at LaFene on campus, they kinda became "Plan A."
