WHEN Beasley starts putting up double-doubles like T-Bro while getting hacked to death on the inside...I mean not by guys going for the ball but slapped in the face and head and everywhere else on every single play for 40 minutes per game...then I might think of allowing Beasley in this conversation.

He is a great player and will do well in the NBA next year with all the other one and done guys but he lives on the outside and drives and trash...not on getting the heck beat out of him by 2-3 and sometimes even 4 guys every night...TH is a beast and NOONE in this country deserves to even be mentioned in the same breath as Tyler Hansbrough when we speak of the Player Of The Year

I seriously don't understand how so-called fans can only watch their teams and no other college Bball.  ku fan does the same thing.

Turn on a game once in a while you idiots.

It's a good thing Beasley doesn't play 40 minutes.  His numbers would make "T-Bro's" look like Cole Aldrich's.

Jeffy, Alba is mesmorizing, I just caught myself staring at your clip for like 2 minutes straight before I realized what I was doing.

Do they keep stats on "and-1's"? I'd guess MB has a pretty high number. I'd like to see the comparison w/ Hans-girl/Hans-sis  :users:

Yeah, we went through this last week, but I'll add my two cents again.

Im not a stats guy at all, but I realize the voters are. Their stats are similar, with Beasley's being slightly better. However, like Ive said, put Tyler on K-St and Beasley on Carolina and the numbers would be switched IMO. If Tyler played in the big 12 with K-St, he'd avg at least 27 IMO. Beasley playing with us would have to sacrifice some of his stats because we have more scorers.

What separates them apart is the intangibles of Tyler. He is a leader. The kid is relentless and never stops moving. He dives on the floor for loose balls, plays tough D, boxes out, etc etc etc I could go on for days. Beasley is very good, but he doesnt do the little things that Tyler does.

Its a frickin miracle opponents throw an average of over one more shot a game into beasley's outstretched hand so he can get blocks.  Not to mention hand him the ball more when they are on offense so he can have more steals.  The real impressive thing though is how the ball is magnetically attracted to him twice more a game on rebounds, even though he doesn't box out.

My favorite was a unc fan said " would beasley fight like a mack truck for rebounds like hans?" Answer: stats say he rebounds better than anyone else in the country.  Also alot of unc fans have apparently never seen Bill Walker or Jacob pullen.

Since my posts usually contain little substance, I need something to encourage people to at least "read" part of them.
