now that most of the players are rated, thought i'd compare the # of 2 star/unrateds vs past seasons

2007 - 10  (whitmore not included, Arkansas players not rated yet)

2006 - 17

2005 - 9

2004 - 10

2003 - 5 (out of a smaller class of 17)

2002 - 5 (easily the best kstate class ever, rating wise)

one can look at this two ways, 1, recruiting clearly has dropped since 2002 and looks to be staying that way for the time being...or two, prince is doing no worse than previous 4 years despite a lot of thought that its much worse.

heres hoping we close out strong...

    The very best.
You guys said, "wait till the stars come out"

That's what I did.

We are recruiting at ku, MU levels. Maybe slightly better.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

No, we said wait until the recruiting period is over.

Stars will change throughout the year because their senior campaigns will be evaluated to fine tune the stars.

Stay tuned.

They won't change that much.

i think we had 3 players lose stars last year.  josh moore, davyon mcghee (saw him the other day, hope he isn't another clayton as he is built like a rock), and patrick turner.  it's not looking good

i'd say it's below average.  One thing that bothers me, what if we have a great season which goes beyond our expectations.  What if we win 10 games and go through the north like shermans march to the sea and all of a sudden we got a dozen or more guys trying to schedule last minue trips to visit but, oops, we already have  20+ commits and can only take a couple.

man, that would suck

Anything can happen.  We're still several months away from the signing period.

right, we are several months away but we are also very close to finishing our class.  by the time the season rolls around I would guess we are going to be at about 85% capacity.  that doesn't really leave us alot of room to snatch up a bunch of top level recruits.  Unless your an advocate of Prince yanking offers to his already commited players, which I think is wrong.

We're not done until they are signed.

You can make all your predictions, but unless you have followed recruiting for several years, you know this thing is not over by a long shot.

thats an easy one.  the plan a kids are the ones with the offers from lmultiple bcs schools.  they are the ones that coaches watchedd on tape and said, I would like to have that kid  the kids with no offes from anyone, or offers from like a ball state or tulsa, at this point in the game arew the plan c and d kids.  These are the kids that the big teams that recruit well might offer a schol the last week in january if they have a spot open, sadly, these are the kids that make up the majority of our class

I figured out how to solve this debate...

I'm starting a petition to make 'Stunner' & 'Purple Cobra' the successors to Ron Princes failed regime.

Sign your name below if you believe they have it all figured out:

The greatest thing of all about cobra posting like such a tard is that it gives me another reason not to read her posts.

Geezus, I am no Pulitzer Prize winner, but try some freaking sentence structure and capitalization ... or just admit you were educated at Nebraska so we can fully understand your plight.

Snyer isn't our coach anymore.  Hasn't that dawned on you yet?  you would think that after watching our clusterf*ck spring practice you would have realized that everything Snyder left the building

i thought the spring game went pretty well.  course i'm not really sure what the standards are for a great spring game, but this one was a lot more fun than any others.

spring practice was unorganized, the spring game was unorganized.  it was stupid to have a draft.  1st stringers next to 4th stringers and what not.  what a waste.  prince in the boothe so he could hear his own voice instead of being with his men on the field.  Morriss running around like a jackass dancing and jiving.  what a joke.  will he be jiving and dancing when l'ville rips us a new one?

Right.  Nothing you have said has had any basis in fact as of yet.    Tell me how many coaches recruit players that won't fit into their system.  You do understand that football coaches have a "system" right?

So because you're a Husker fan, we're not doing it like Schnellahan, we're doing it wrong?  Disorganized?

You've now become the Board Jester.   There is no way anyone can ever believe anything you're saying.

doesnt take away from the fact that it was still more enjoyable!  snyder himself always said the team got very little out of the spring game so why not make it fun for the fans?

your not making any sense.  Snyder ran a non traditional offense, just like Virginia tech, WVU and Nebraska, and such the players they chose for their teams didn't fit the traditional systems and alot of their player rankings were schewed because they needed a different kind of player, especially at the o-line, wr and qb positions.  Now you got Prince, he is running a pro style offense which means he is running the same system as NU, USC and all kinds of other teams.  Which means the players he wants are the same players that a guy like Pete Carrol  would want.  Except he is falling so far off the mark it's sickening.  but go ahead and bring up snyder and what he did again.  you sound like a retarded parrot stuck on the same line because it's what you have  been told to say over and over and over again
