You and I were obviously watching different debates.  I was watching one at the Reagan Library. 

By the way, anyone with some Ron Paul connections...tell them to take down their signs here in Vegas that they should not have placed up on public infrastructure to begin with.

Not really.  I'm more the observer now because my guy is out...I caucused for Fred Thompson.

Which is a big reason to like him!  He was the only guy who would stand up and try to refocus these debates to actual conservative concerns...because I have yet to see a real debate over the ideas which matter to conservatives this election cycle.  The YouTube thing was just a huge joke (surprise, surprise).  Thompson isn't even really a debate guy...he needs a much longer form to handle his issues.

I liked Thompson a lot too, but part of it was his own doing.  I think he waited too long to join the fray, but before he joined he had great PR and was campaigning well even though he really wasn't campaigning.  Then once he joined he got rid of a lot of his staff and hired some of the guys that worked for Dole, and I really thought he turned out running a campaign like Dole's when he failed.  He become a pretty boring candidate.  I know that shouldn't matter, but that's the world we live in.
