Northside quarterback Kodi Burns has a slew of offers from all over the Big 12 and the SEC, and most of the schools comes along with a promise - Burns is their No. 1 quarterback target. Recently Burns has put his AAU basketball season on hold so he can travel to check out some of his favorites starting with Kansas State. The fact that he doesn't like getting up in the morning holds true to most I'm sure. He didn't say he won't so that is no reason to discredit the kid. Who cares if he didn't know that there was a coaching change, nobody paid attention to us because we had gotten last place in the north for two strait years i wouldn't have known if i didn't live in Manhattan! He is obviously good juding on the offers he has recieved and we are high on his list so I will take the kid. You have complained that we offer kids with no offers and now we offer a kid that has several and you don't like him either. Kansas State is never going to pull in the best talent in football. Texas is just too hard to compete with. This kid looks like he has a lot of talent and just because he doesn't LIKE waking up at five in the morning does not mean we shouldn't get him.

I disagree with you on that.  if your seriously considering a college, a place to not only to learn to be a better athlete but to get an education you should know damn well who the caoches are.  Ask yourself the same question, would you take the time and money to visit a college where you didn't even know what system they ran on offense or who your coach would be?  I know your smarter than that.

that is why when you find out that they are interested in you, you go and check it out.. Recently my brother got a huge scholarship offer from GSU. He didn't even know where GSU was but he investigated it and found out that it would be a really good oppurtunity to go there for him and he ended up going and having a much better time than he would have had anywhere else. (and learned a whole lote more). He shouldn't just automatically commit but he should investigate it, not just turn away because he doesn't know anything about them. How do you think Snyder got kids here in the first place?! Everytime a kid gets a scholarship offer I'm sure he looks into it and finds out everything that he wants to know about that university and that is what this kid is doing. If he picks us, he obviously knows us well enough now to want to come here.
