about the best that ou could have hoped for.  lucky.

bye bye quality win OU is going to dig a hole too deep to get out of without him.  They've got no depth with him gone and the other big that is ineligible due to grades they are hosed.

Will the selection committee give KSU credit for beating OU as what they were at the time they beat them or what they end up being, including the results w/o Griffin?

their next 3 games aren't all that difficult.  and griffin shouldn't miss more than 6 games or so all told.

they'll be ok.  probably 3-5 at the worst when griffin comes back.

My understanding is that we'll get credit for the win over an RPI Top 50 at their house....but our RPI SOS will drop with each loss they have from there on out. ku smashing them was a bad start.

    The very best.
absolutely sucks for us and ou.

Can you imagine if we lost beasley for 4 weeks? this is pretty much the equivalent.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

This situation for OU kind of reminds me of KSU's situation last year when Walker went down in the first conference game of the season, only Griffin won't miss the rest of the season.  I just hope his team can respond like ours did after the injury and keep them competitive until he returns.  OU is one of the teams and has one of the coaches that I don't mind seeing having success.  I think they can get by decent enough without him because they have some decent talent around Longar in the middle.  I see them going 3-3 while he's out.

Think Beaz and Walker should wear knee braces against ku, it's quite apparent that's one dirty basketball team.

It's like asking them to play in a pick up game with a bunch of inmates from Leavenworth.  I think we should make both play in a cage with holes cut out for their limbs.  Otherwise, I wouldn't feel like they were safe.  They are good enough where they wouldn't miss a beat playing inside a cage suit.

Merkins may be more appropriate.
