You guys solved the mystery....Kauns job from the start was to tear his ACL secretly....
How are you cursed? You snuck by a mediocre team...and now they play a great team and get hammered...thats what usually happens

OU='s below 500 in league without Griffen.  So much for our quality road win.  Even if it's not an ACL I'll bet he's out a month or more which is more then enough time to put a team without depth into the tank.

We picked a bad year to have our most talented team in 20 years.  This is the best ku team I've seen at least since the mid to late 90's and I"m not sure this team isn't better then those teams.  I'm starting to think this is just ku's year in sports.  Got every break under the sun in football minimal injuries schedule lined up perfectly etc.  Same thing is happening in bball every major non con opponent was down this year.  Hell ku actually had an injury (Rush) that helped their team signifigantly how often does that happen?

If I were a ku fan, I would be up in arms about the way officials call games in allen field house.  It costs them in the tournament more often than not.

I just noticed that there is no censor for the "most popular topic in the last 24 hours" in the "sports" section of the forum.

I'm really glad ku sucks at recruiting now because they are pretty good this year.  Luckily this will be the last year for a while.

Oh, and ku's 2008 class has four 4-star players. Our 2004 class ended up with three 4-star players.

that's it refs...coddle, pamper their push around defense then come tournament time the plan will fall into place. :billypopcorn:

There's a reason the first good mid-major to come along always knocks them out.   :billypopcorn:

2=always.

Rhode Island?

Utep?

When you say, "UTEP"...  Do you actually mean Texas Western?

This losing to the first quality mid-major that they faced in the tourney as been going on now for over 40 years!!!  Unless it started before Don Haskin's team whipped them on the Glory Road to the '66 championship.

how many pts does Beasley get vs. ku?  Their defense looked pretty good. I'd be happy with a skinny double double (12-10)

Beasley will likely score the big goose egg, since ku will destroy his knee (and career along with it) the moment play begins.  Durant went down ... Griffin went down ... Beasley is next.  Poor kitties.

I know your sad it could another heroic effort from your one man show to avoid yet another loss while we had the game in the bag halfway through the first half
