sproles all the way no sproles no Big 12 championship in 03. No sproles we wouldn't have even won 4 games in 04 (scary thought) sproles 4 years> Bishiop 2 years

Darren was fun to watch and made some incredibly athletic plays.

Watching Michael was like watching Superman.  He did things you didn't even realize were possible.

Like what? I'd say Sproles made more unbelievable plays that you didn't think were possible than Bishop.

Like 420+ total yards vs a top 10 team.

Twice.

We won by twenty-eight.  I think it's totally reasonable to claim that we would have won that game without Sproles.  You'll just have to take it from those of us that are old enough to have seen both play.

i saw both play....i will give bishiop this he lead ksu to an undefeated season and got 2nd in the heisman voting (should have been first) over sproles's 5th..but whenever sproles was on the field you got that feeling that you have a great chance for a TD

Honestly both were amazing.   Sproles was an inspiration to everyone around him; Bishop was a born leader with freakish athletic ability.  The question is who was the best KSU player of all time.  Who took their team the furthest.  I guess the best way to gauge it would be to build a dream team with Bishop under center and sproles in the back field.  On that team who would be the biggest loss?  My vote goes to Bishop.

Bishiop might have been a better player..but he is barely the schools best qb (chalengers roberson [not much of a challenger but a challenger] grogan and dickey) Sproles is easily the best RB in school history (chalengers hickerson murphy and scobey

Even if that were true, the question wasn't who was the best RB, it was who was the best player, meaning who brought the most to KSU football.  Hey I love Sproles, look at my Avatar, but Bishop brought more to KSU.

In that case, Sproles would be the second-best running back in the backfield.

Saw them both play.  Bishop in a landslide.  Carried the team on his back.  What happened to Sproles after Roberson graduated?

he was our only go to guy. when they know where you are going every play, you aren't going to do that well. that wasn't sproles fault.. that  was the lack of other talent.

Let's be honest, a good chunk of D-SPRO yards vs OU came when OU just quit.

Gary Spani ... consensus 1st team All-American playing on $hit KSU teams ... KC Chiefs Hall of Fame, College Football Hall of Fame.

All time tackles record for both KSU and the Chiefs.

Hands down the best player ever at KSU.
