Has us going 10-6 in conference which is good enough to get us in the NCAA Tournament this season. Has us losing at Oklahoma, to ku twice, at Missouri, at Texas Tech and at Baylor.

20-10 (10-6) would put us where?????

That sounds pretty reasonable.  That would mean wins over aTm and UT which would bode well come selection time.  Probably need a win in KC to go along with that to be safe though.

    Check me out!
I know you guys hate him for the story he wrote the other day but he's being more optimistic about KSU's conference chances than many others in the media right now.

maybe he got so much hate mail for that article he's trying to make up for it?

Their SOS and ability to play on the road are poor.

Howard is a K-State grad, but despite that he does a good job covering KSU objectively.  That article was outside of what he usually does.  He was sending a "shot across the bow" of sorts in the only way he can.  If you look beyond the surface, there is a very pro-KSU reason to why he wrote that article the way he did.  There is definitely a method to the madness.
Welcome back, Bill.

I think KSU will go 9-7.  KSU is far too young and inexperienced to win much more than that.

I have no problem with his article except for the fact that it is incredibly short-sighted and shows a low CAIQ(collegiate athletics intelligence quotient).
Show me defense.

"A loss to Tech?  I doubt it."

Last year that would have been..."A loss at Nebraska?  I doubt it."

That was a horrible and unnecessary loss.  We played grossly under potential and I'm sure the players were ashamed.
