If I was VT fan I'd be ticked.  Even some of those vertical throws are okay, but neither QB has any business throwing an out.  ku is fast, but its clear they don't have the horses to stop VT'snpower running game.

I agree on the vertical routes are okay but only if you get them outside the hash an force Talib to cover....that or just hand the ball off to Ore.  Maybe mix in  a screen or two. And think about the 3rd receiver dragging across the middle on short routes.

Some of the worse game management I've seen.  Spotted ku the lead early by going against their strength and throwing the ball.  Got back into running the ball and then they decide to start trying to throw it again.  If they come out and just run the ball and leave it to their D this game would have been an easy win.  

Leaving the gunners uncovered on the fake punt was just bush league.  Starting in about 8th grade every team has an audible where you throw it out the gunner if someone is dumb enough to leave them uncovered.

My biggest problem is that VT obviously has some talent, especially on defense.  Offensively a solid oline and Ore is a stud and even the back-up is solid.  ku never showed in this game that they could stop the power run game.  To not go in thinking 40 rushes minimum is stupid and frankly shows me t

Yeah, I agree about the lack of respect.  When you're Virginia Freaking Tech, without a recognizable offense, I don't understand how you go into any game not respecting the opponent.
