1.  It's a Wonderful Life
2.  A Christmas Story
3.  National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
4.  A Charlie Brown Christmas
5.  A Chipmunk Christmas

Sorry, that's the top five.  Your considerations will be noted, fill free to give us yours, but I'm sure this list will stand the test of time.

I'll be honest this list kind of bores me, so I'm just going to pretend that you are asking us to list our top 5 albums of the last year, because well ... I find that more interesting, so on to the topic at hand; my top 5 albums of 2007 :woohoo:

1. Kanye West - Graduation; it's kind of pathetic how weirdly I'm addicted to Kanye.
2. The National - Boxer; I didn't like it as much as Alligator, but I'm still like Kanye weirdly addicted to The National, so I still really really liked it.
3.Band Of Horses - Cease to Begin; When they opened for Modest Mouse, they were really good
4. Spoon - Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga; first album I heard from Spoon, I like.
5a. Radiohead - In Rainbows                I pretty much like both equally, good not great albums
5b. The Shins - Wincing the Night Away

The Grinch!!  Not the stupid remade live-action one, but the actual cartoon from Seuss.

Ok,

Here are some of my classics (not in any classless order):

1.  Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version) - This has Maureen O'Hara and a very young Natalie Wood in it.

2.  Holiday Inn (1942) - Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire fight over Marjorie Reynolds as their singing or dancing partner.

3.  A Christmas Story (1983) - Don't shoot your eye out !

4.  A Christmas Carol (1951) - Stars Alastair Sim as Scrooge.  Watch for Scrooge to stand on his head after he wakes up after being visited by the three ghosts...

5.  How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966) - I agree with jeffy, this is the one.
Singer: You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch / You're a nasty, wasty skunk / Your mind is filled with unwashed socks, your soul is full of gunk / Mr. Grinch / The words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote: Stink, stank, stunk!

Yea, How the Grinch stole Christmas would definitely make my top 10, along with Miracle on 34th St.  My #4 and #5 have more to do with how much I enjoyed them as a kid.  If I didn't have such a wonderful childhood, those two would probably be in my top 5.  But, being a kid was great and I can't erase the part those had on me.

I'll have to check out Holiday Inn, never seen that one.

Don't know if you'll like Holiday Inn or not.  It has Bing singing White Christmas and it is an excuse for Bing and Fred to do song and dance routines...

White Christmas (1954) was an attempt to be the sequel, of sorts...  It has Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye and Rosemary Clooney in it.  I'm sure you've seen this one...  Oh and catch Bing and Danny doing "Sisters" !!!

There's a definite theme running through your picks cire.  Man, do you put loaded mousetraps in everyone's stocking on the Eve?  Definitely rotten.
