Lightsaber overrated, IMO.  Best uses are for one-on-one combat, due to apparent lack of weight, and as a plasma cutter.  Pretty useless as a weapon against 4-5+ opponents armed with blasters, and heavily dependent on ability of user. Thus, a weapon like the BFG is vastly superior equipment.

What about the short sword of ykesha?  :(  the skulls that went off when the weapon procs was the crap.  Duel wielding them made you a super badass...before the kunark expansion came out.
