Just got home from playing a round of golf with Elijah Alexander...  We both live in a suburb of Dallas called Frisco and played The Trails of Frisco Golf Club this morning.  He hits it pretty well for not having started playing until he retired from the NFL four years ago!

For those of you that don't know, he was diagnosed with a form of cancer that I can't pronounce about a year ago and had a bone marrow transplant in February.  He was telling me today that he got down to about 175 pounds earlier in the year, but he's finished his chemo therapy and his cancer is in complete remission.  He looks healthy at 215 lbs again and says he feels great.

    The very best.
That is something you post on wabash station, not here.

Good stuff. You are a ridiculously important/cool person.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Since I'm a mod here, and want mj's site/traffic to grow, I thought it most appropriate to post it here.  But, thanks for your concern nonetheless.

Nice post... That is correct.

That's good news about his cancer going into remission, Elijah was always cool as crap in college.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
