forcing the bww folk to show ULTIMATE FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP on the two bigscreens instead of TTU-OU.

F-ing scum.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I actually screamed it at the waiters just so the Riley Rats would overhear me, they were eying my pretty good. I feel so terrible for Iraqis having to deal with these retards armed with guns.

Why didn't you tell them that you didn't appreciate them invading your country?

Establishments that GIs frequent are lame.  My advice:  become cooler and go somewhere else.

That's pretty sucky.  And a little interesting.  I rarely saw any and have heard that they were very strongly discouraged from going down there back then.  Sounds like things have changed.  For the suckier.  As previously mentioned.

That could explain a lot, too.  That's the only place I ever went.  Just about every night.

i think there is more of them then there was when we were in school.  war and crap, they've been pulling more heads into riley.  i blame most of it on katkid's girlfriends loose asshole.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

Simple solution.  Get the bar owners to jack up the prices of drinks to disproportionate prices, and then offer great discounts to students/alumni.

Keeps crapheads(rival fans and riley rats alike) out of Aggieville, and if they INSIST on being there, at least they're being forced to pay extra.

The Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy likely has something to do with that.

Glad I read the rest of the thread before posting the exact same thought.

Soooo glad the Big Red 1 was away in my school years.

Great idea but illegal.  In KS (unless laws have changed in the last three years, I know the sunday sales law was modified so they may have been) you cannot offer discounts for certain people (the obvious one is "lady's night).  Also, you can't have happy hour.  You must price drinks the same for all people and the price must stay the same all day.  Another dumb law is that you can't sell booze for less than it costs.  This is done in a lot of college towns I've been to where you pay a $10-$20 cover and then all drinks are 25 cents or whatever.  KS has horrible liquor laws.  We tried and did skirt a lot of these when I worked in aggieville but you have to be careful because losing a liquor license is like a death sentance during the school year.  We lost ours twice for 1 week periods.

You can't charge higher prices for drinks, but you can charge a higher cover.  This was done before the 1 left the first time.  Cover was so much, unless you had a student ID, then it was cheaper.

Back in the late 90's the bar next to Rusty's next door (forgot the name) did something sort of like what Phreak suggested (was it not illegal then)? The cover for students/non-GI's would be around $5 while the cover for GI's would be around $20.
