I'm not sure if this story is legit or not, but the attempted assault of a high school football official, the post Texas game tirade, and the blood spitting sideline reaming of a player = National coach of the year.

Kansas will get its chance against #5 Mizzou on Nov. 24th.  Haven't you been paying attention to ESPN?
You have not played them yet.

Just answer the question. Thanks.

Nebraska is ranked 18th in total offense, dumbass.

Your team was down 38-0 at halftime to Oklahoma State.  Your team lost 36-14 to Texas A&M.  Both of them at home.  Do those teams suck as well?

So getting back to the topic of this thread.  Cap, is Mangino beating the hell out of his wife or not??   We know he's a real douchebag, the history of his temper and his actions at various little league and scholastic sporting events in Manhattan, Lawrence and Topeka (and points beyond) speak for themselves, we know that LSnyder had to sit him down and tell him to chill when he was at KSU (to know avail) . . . So Cap rather than changing the subject, what are your thoughts on Mangino and his rumored spousal abuse??

He must have learned it from Bill Snyder at K-State.

Maybe it is just me, but I'm against people beating their wives.

He must have learned it from Bill Snyder at K-State.

No, Bill Snyder names the stadium fo rhis family, he does not beat them.  Simple mistake.

I heard a rumor that Mangino is the front-runner for National Coach of the Year.

Been there, done that.

You gave up 39 points and 405 yards passing to that number 18 offense with a backup QB! Dumbass. And you put up 76 on the 113th ranked defense. Yawn.

As for TAMU, you guys really crushed that team. And both those teams are not very good defensivley. And PS NU is not good this year.

LOL @ you for bragging about beating a dismal NU and TAMU team.

I know someone with the Lawrence police station and he says they get calls to go to his house for domestic battery all of the time - but, she refuses to press charges.

In Kansas, the victim of domestic violence doesn't press charges, the State of Kansas does through the law enforcement officers on the scene.

True, but it's hard for the state to press charges when their number one witness refuses to testify.

If the police are called to a residence for a domestic disturbance, someone has to spend the night in jail. I'm sure the local news outlets would have been aware of the LPD calling in Ray Liotta and an army helicopter to transport Mangino, ala Operation Dumbo Drop.

Just because that is what the law says...is not what is always done.

Let's just say that before (or soon after) the police get there - Lew Perkins is there as well.

I think that answers all and most questions.

If you have a link, then I'd be curious to see it. It's the internet so there are rumors, but sometimes they end up true.

You don't hit your wife or kids. It's seriously inexcusable. I'd much rather watch a bad football team than cheer for a guy who hits his wife.
