Did anyone listen to WHB this morning?
A reliable 810 caller and KSU guy (Baldy) had the following to say:
1. He said he was in very close proximity to KSU bench Saturday and the players had quit and had no qualms about that
2. Coaches appear to have lost control
3. Guys talking about video games, joking, etc when score was 73-24!!

This seems shades of the Mizzou bench when KSU belted them 66-0 in 1999 (Larry Smith wife down on sidelines yelling at players)

If this is accurate (and seriously why would someone make that up?) then we may be headed for Stan Parrish II

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Unless every player cried, there are big problems IMO.

    Fear the Brick
I think we'll score at least 7 on MU.  Jordy's good for a touchdown.

When NU has their QB drop back 3 steps and hits a guy on a skinny post multiple times for TD's right between KSU's safties . . . don't f'ing start telling us how you mixed up the coverages Ron!!

BTW, a friend brought over an Xbox 360 last night and we played Ghost Recon.  I am not a huge gamer, but what does the board suggest for the next upgrade from the PSII??  Maybe I should get back for the game this weekend and ask the KSU bench.

So stupid.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

If K-State loses to a Mizzou team who may be nearly the best team in the country, are we going to declare that Prince has "lost the team?"  Or is it based upon how close the final score is?

I bet the caller was between 40-55.

so what if Kietz goes off on the loss!  we all are on this message board.  He just has a large mouthpiece to express his opinion.  Big deal.  And that caller is full of it.  I know all the team doctors and the doc that made the trip told me that there was huge frustration on the sidelines.  Nothing was going KSUs way and when the score gets that ugly, its hard for 18 to 20 year olds to concentrate. He didn't think it was kids quitting. FWIW
" and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me," Carl Spackler

Agreed Fatty.  We need to at least wait until we are &@#%ing rolled by Mizzou and lose in Fresno before we begin this sort of thing.  Which I have no doubt will occur.

There is a difference between quitting, and getting beat by better players.  Sam Keller was a joke and held back the offense this year at nu.  They've got a ton of talent, and everything just came together for them.

You should have read my post about how hard it is to lose 6 in a row and how they were due for a game like this.

PS3 doesn't seem worth it at all imo. High price, no quality games. Xbox 360 wouldn't be bad. Depends on what you're wanting to play and perhaps how much you would use it.

Wii seems more family oriented. Kiddy games. Low price but not much there.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

PS3:  for the Blue-Ray Disc Player

360:  For the graphics and number of games.

Wii:  For the fun of it.

Decide what's more important and how much you're willing to spend and go from there.
