home game
senior day
mizzou with all the pressure
mizzou hasn't won in manhattan since whenever
prince clearly has been gameplanning for this game the past 3 weeks because its a ranked team and looking good against ranked teams is all that matters
this game will give ku the division by default which sucks so it will happen
mizzou fans are just as cursed as we are
would make sense in this warped college football season

i'm actually being fairly serious here.  it wouldn't shock me at all if we won.

I think they'll win just to &@#% with us.  "you thought we sucked. ha"

And then they will promptly lose to Fresno St.

i can't comment on whether "andy" is stupid or not... but i for one agree with him

this game IS basically our season... the role of 'the spoiler' for mizzou is a tasty one, even IF it means we set up ku for the north... and becoming bowl eligible in front of the home crowd is a motivator... considering the ups and downs of this season, i think we are due for 'an up'

also, if ku beats mizzou and oklahoma... i applaud them... then they deserve the props and the national championship game opportunity... i think if we can take a moment to look outside of our 'purple fog', we must admit that ku is a very, very good team  Two Cents

i just hope two things... 1. arthur brown doesn't own a television  and 2. we don't kick to maclin :whiteflag:

just one old fart's opinion :cyclist:

With all the factors mentioned above, I would also tend to agree.
Then I realize ksu has 1)Watts 2) Chandler and 3) Erker at the safety positions(and Carney, but he can only do so much). Then I look at Coffman and Rucker. Then I look at NU scoring on the exact same play (skinny post in the middle of the field) four times against those safeties. Then I remember Daniel is a very good running qb (see 4th and 20 scramble this past wkend).

Those alone=loss

LOL.  I know.  You'd think at some point the players would have some play recognition after they seen that play over and over again, but no, they just sat back and got owned.   Chase and Rucker will have 100 yards each, minimum.

perhaps you're right... they have many, many offensive weapons

so, let's just "go all mccoy" on daniel... now THAT might be a difference-maker!  i've watched all their games, and the guy has not been hit all year

It can be done, but it'll be tough for this team, bc they're playing with 0 confidence right now.
The reason he hasnt been hit all year...bc their OL is very good, and their O allows him to get rid of it quick, and with all the misdirection (<--ksu= :whiteflag:) they run LBs and DL cant pin their ears back.

Any defense that gives up 73 points to Nebraska won't be able to beat Mizzou.

Mizzou is going to kill our defense.  I mean, Ganz wailed on us.  Wait till a real QB starts shredding this shiot D.  Hell they could drop 70 on us also.

    The "other" KSU
This will the the final nail in the coffin for ALL of the Snyer era. There were so many that have come to a screeching halt with this coaching staff. Would this have happened with Snyder still here - Prolly, but the losing streak for MU in Manhattan comes to an abrupt end.

NOW, Prince & Co. has an opportunity to start fresh with new milestones - will we EVER see the streaks that Snyder and the boys created... stay tuned! (if you have a strong stomach) MU dismantles our Defense and it wont even be close. We then lose to Fresno St and watch the bowl season in the same place as our team - from the couch. GO CATS 2008! :whiteflag:

Even with it being senior day and the "upset factor" it won't matter.  Shiat is shiat and ours will surface just like it always does.

Right now this football program has more problems than a five dollar John the morning after a night out in Tijuana.  If you have to ask what a "John" is then you're probably not old enough to read this post.

this game will give ku the division by default which sucks so it will happen
mizzou fans are just as cursed as we are
would make sense in this warped college football season

I usually hope for a huge sink hole to suck up whatever stadium KSU and MU play in every year but Saturday will officially be the 1st time in my 38 year life that I will cheer for K-State.  A win would give ku the North + it would piss off K-State fans to know they had a hand in ku winning the north + MU fans would be even more pissed off = a perfect day!

Go Cats.  Don't forget your powertowel!

that is exactly why i am torn on whether or not i really want to see kstate win.  when the game starts of course i will be cheering for kstate, but if/when we lose part of me will not really be disappointed.  for the very first time in my entire life i will not be terribly upset if we lose, unless of course ku chokes against isu.
