ku averages only 23 pts a game on the road vs. scoring 58 in Lawrence...

And yes, the fighting Manginos have played well defensively in their
road contests this year......

But the Cowboys and their run/pass threat will spell doom for
ku's defense.

Oklahoma State wins 37-28.    :whatthe:

    The "other" KSU
Do you think that OSU is balanced enough? Defense? QBJF had a pretty nice outing against OSU's D, and even though Tiny (Reesing) isn't as effective a QB as Freeman - he has some skills. I have been thinking all along that the teams ku has beaten all have one thing in common - at least one GLARING deficiency. One thing (sometimes more) that is practically worthless. CU - Defense and new coach, NU - MANY, KSU - Defense and Running game, aTm - Passing game (dont ask me why they were able to pass at the end of the game), Baylor - see NU.

That being said - my hat is off the the Fighting Manginas for exploiting those weaknesses... that is something that we cannot do thus far with our HC.

30 yrs  OMG ... You must be very young and very stupid son....   there were times in the 70's 80's and a good part of the 90's   you didnt have 9  total wins in 3 yrs. That little small run you had for a few short yrs is over, it was a blip on the radar

The fewest points Oklahoma State has allowed at home is 38, and that was last weekend against Texas.  They also lost to Texas A&M.  I think Kansas will put up some points.  As long as the defense contains OSU's passing game, Kansas will win this one comfortably.

There is really no reason why ku shouldn't steamroll Okie State.  That 6 point line is a laugher.  ku is a legit NC contender folks, don't you forget it.

Has ku bottled up a LEGIT passing offense yet? Not saying Okie St. is one but they have the ability to be one.

Gotta agree with AudiSquawk here.  No way ku loses this game.  I smell blowout.  Anything less than a 21 point win will be a moral loss, setting up a heartbreaking loss to ISU at home the following week.

If there is a god, OSU will win this game.
If that god is feeling particularly spiteful, OSU will win big.

Seeing ku on the front page of the USA Today sports section was enough to make me gag.  They need to go away.  Fast.

ku good, sure - NC? ARE YOU JOKING? It's not that I just hate ku... I hate every other team in the Big 12 not named KSU. Anyone who thinks because they beat up on the North and historic big names from the south the undefeated record is ANYTHING equal to that of BC or MANY of the one loss schools is on CRACK! People, are you forgetting? The same thing that ku has "accomplished" this year; we were looked at as playing in a "weak" conference. Again, top 20 yes - top 5...   :hahano:

Corky,

Old boy, ya got us there.   :blank:  KSU football and basketball has been prety much mutually exclusive on the "good" scale.

Of course, and I'm real sure you'll enlighten us classless bastages on if ku has had this happen prior to this year.

Please get back to me on that one, mkay ?

all that needs to be said is that weve been good at both sports far more times then KSUCK.

Part 1 of my prediction is complete, getting blown out by Nebraska and Iowa St=  worst team in the Big12

corky, pour it on - man, it's cool... we knew this would be a disaster when we handed you the win over us on a silver platter. Look, we dont make adjustments on either side of the ball, so we just wait around until we get figured out. Today - NUB just figured us out earlier this year. We run the wrong Defense, we cannot run the ball and the things we counted on from last year (ST, Defensive players improving etc.) got worse. Oh well, I can now empathize with ku nation - THIS is what it feels like to be as bad as you used to be.

But, now onto the important stuff - how bad will it feel when we sweep you all this year in roundball? Seriously, I think that it will feel worse to lose to us in Basketball (considering you guys are a good team in BB) than you beating us (a below average team) in Football. Hey, congrats and good luck with the rest of your season!

another year another purple pansy and their hilarious basketball predictions    In answer though, it wont feel like anything because there is ZERO chance in hell that you will beat the best team in the nation 2 times. You and your boy Bob Thuggins should hang out though

And no its not how bad WE used to be....more like the 100 years YOU were this bad

Yeah, it is as bad as you used to be - I think it is hilarious that ku is "back" from somewhere they have never been before. You are = to the following teams:

Boise State 2006
Utah 2004
tcu 2003
NC St/Bowling Green 2002
Marshall 1999

So save this crap about a Nat'l Power - and if you dont recognize us in BB... you are more of an idiot than I thought before.  :D
