    The very best.

Despite those victories Talib wouldn't argue with those who say that the Jayhawks haven't completely proven themselves. Ask him to name the biggest game he's played in during his Kansas career, and he actually falls silent for a moment. "Maybe the Fort Worth Bowl [in 2005], or anytime we play Kansas State," he finally says. But those matchups would be nothing compared to the games that could be in the Jayhawks' future -- possible appearances in the Big 12 and BCS championship games. "If we were to go that far, I can't even imagine how crazy this place would get," he says. "I wouldn't be able to even put it into words." Kansas playing for a championship? Hard to believe. Aqib Talib, speechless? Impossible.

I'd be nice if our players had the same mentality.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

If I am a senior on KSU and the biggest games of my career are the Ft. Worth Bowl and the ku games......I would hang myself.

Talib is a RS-Junior.  His team is #4 in the BCS and 9-0.

That is all.

Yep, sure must suck to be Talib.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

It would suck to be ANY ku player.  Just on the merit of school choice alone.  I hope to see you all over here after OSU restores some order this weekend.

As far as Talib goes, cheering for terrorists is overrated and wrong.  Just my opinion.  :nono:

Yep, sure must suck to be Talib.

Actually it would suck if your team is 9-0, and you are still feeling so insecure about your own program that you continually post messages on this board.

Scoreboard certainly wasn't the result of Jordy completely blowing the doors off the overrated blabbermouth.  ku won inspite of the Jordy-Talib match up, not because of it.  Seriously, if I were Talib I wouldn't say another word for the rest of the year after getting pwn3d by a small town white guy like that.  But since he has an IQ of about 70 he continues to prattle on about how he wants to match up with the best receivers in the league (kind of like how he "matched up" with Bowman last year).

Don't forget getting cooked by a slow Purify, twice as well! NOT an All American!

Well, when you think about it...we are their measuring stick for validation and credit. Who else would be experts on exploiting a soft OOC?

Well with all these terrible receivers like Jordy Nelson and Mo Purify exposing Talib for the fraud he really is, maybe he'll return for his senior year.  Not a bad problem to have.

Yep, then his stock will drop and so will his so called All American title. Plus he has to face UT, South Florida, and OU in the same season. No wonder he would want to leave early. Teams with a legit passing game make Talib sh1t down his leg!

If I were ANY ku player right now, I would be seeing dollar signs - and having the best shot in I dont know how many years to be drafted to the league. Any ku player that wants to hang around until next year is a $hit for brains. THIS is the year for ku, the stars are in correct placement, the planets are aligned, they sold a bill of goods to the idiots who run the polls, with this success - they would be stupid NOT to leave.

Both Talib and Anthony Collins have said they're coming back next year.  Whether they actually do come back remains to be seen.

Not sure about Collins, but Talib has a family to feed.  I would not hold my breath on Aquib returning.  Even if he's a marginal draft pick/undrafted free agent, he's going.  He needs the $.
Welcome back, Bill.

Talib = "Hey kids look, a falling star"

If he were smart, and I'm guessing he's not, he would leave this year.
