When will it ever end??

http://www2.kusports.com/news/2007/nov/07/ku_receiver_charged_june_theft_walmart/

It clearly didn't bother Coach "win at all costs" though:

Neither Briscoe nor the athletic department had any comment Wednesday afternoon, except to say the department has been aware of the alleged incident since June

Classic. This was in June and nothing happened? Well, I guess it could be worse. He could be "working" at a car dealership and getting paid to not "be" there. Or using a mysterious gas credit card.

BMW was correct in that Briscoe has "better hands" than Lamark.  Wal-Mart can attest.  Of course the fact that he got caught supports the "4.7" 40 time listed in his rivals profile.

Hey man, put your jump to conclusions mat away. "the department has been aware of the alleged incident since June". It's being "taken care of". No big deal.

Well, hopefully we can get to a big time bowl game, and one of our players can be accused of rape. Man, if there was only some sort of precedent for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I'm sorry did he ever have a court date?  Did the charges come about, and did we not do something about it.  Maybe you guys can pull and NU and get him out by game time.
Be a winner today

LOL.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

sure do.

system and scheme.  Hell, even Chase Coffman scores from 30-40 out.  It's not difficult to figure out.

Thanks for stopping by to talk about your convict.

This is an ongoing trend for coach depth chart discipline.   John Randle gets hauled in for domestic assault type issues on a Tuesday night, he starts the next game (and then continues on one of the biggest crime sprees in college athletics history . . . and his head coach was still trying to work an angle to put him back on the team until the bitter end).   ku's starting punter gets busted last off season and doesn't miss a kick.    Brock Teddleton caves in a guys face . . . plays the very next game.   Randle's partner in crime (forgot his name now) keeps on playing until his 3rd arrest, and I know I am missing some. All you read on the ku boards is "Coach Mangino has shown he has little tolerance for this stuff . . . Mangino will do the right thing  :blahblah:  :blahblah:  :blahblah:" . . . yet we all know that if this was a KSU player the squawktards would be all a flutter.

9 games into the season and the kid hasn't served one seconds worth of public discipline and as per usual Coach No Coment has no coment.

Sad . . .

Example of why ku law can't ever crawl out of second tier.

If only Briscoe were merely accused, rather than charged.....then it would be a comparison that would make you look like less of a douche. Keyword=less.

Where is the Star's write-up on this?  If it were a KSU player, Howie Richman would have this story posted as "BREAKING NEWS" at the top of the sports page, and then referenced the event as a "distraction" in every game write-up for the next three months.
Welcome back, Bill.

LOL.

I nominate daxi to replace Wyatt.  We need some Bob Uecker moments from the booth, "Todd Reesing, a convicted felon in the off-season..."

dax would really let Nubb and ku have it during the broadcasts.  This thing has potential.  And you thought Rosie took things personal!

It's really no big deal, he wasn't offically part of the program, I am sure he ran some steps and all was forgotten.   This was just a small blip in the thug culture of ku athletics.
