1. Nebraska (4-6, 1-5). Even the most rabid Husker haters never saw this coming.

2. Kansas (9-0, 5-0). So shocking, some ku fans still wondering if Hawks are for real.

3. Missouri (8-1, 4-1). We knew the Tigers would be good, but national title good?

4. Colorado (5-5, 3-3). Buffaloes' three wins better than 2006 under Hawkins.

5. Texas A&M (6-4, 3-3). Fran's e-mail mess cast a dark cloud over a mediocre season.

6. Kansas State (5-4, 3-3). Most sane fans expected six or seven wins.

7. Oklahoma State (5-4, 3-2). Ditto for the fans in Stillwater.

8. Texas (8-2, 4-2). Looked wobbly for a while, but Mack Brown righted the ship.

9. Texas Tech (7-3, 3-3). Pound the little guys, struggle with the heavies -- typical Tech.

10. Oklahoma (8-1, 4-1). Look, another ho-hum 10-win season looming for Stoops.

11. Iowa State (2-8, 1-5). Not much expected from Clones in Chizik's first season.

12. Baylor (3-7, 0-6). Nothing stunning about the Bears -- it's the same old story in Waco.

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
Must have run out of things to rank.

I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70
