We are a better passing team, but NU's rushing defense is f-ing terrible.  Should we try to do what we do best or try to exploit what they do worst?

Personally, I think we need to try and run more.  Our defense sucks, and a running game would chew up more clock, keeping the crappity defense off the field.  If we can't run on Nebraska, then we probably don't have much of a chance to win anyway.

No huddle, straight WCO, no running plays at all.  After all, someone needs to show Slashahan how the WCO should be run.   :billypopcorn:

Reesing threw six touchdown passes against NU. I say we pad Freeman's stats as well.

We should somehow get the 2003 team back on the field.

I'll work on a time machine and see if I can transport them into the future for this one game.

WCO involves the run...

Of course ... after the catch.   :billypopcorn:

NU's senior laden D is the suck.  Freeman should have a career day if he keeps throwing to the correct team.  It is correct that they cannot stop the run but they are equally sucky at stopping the pass (ask Ball State).  Luckily our D won't have to stop the run since their running game is terrible.  Ganz should throw to our guys enough to keep our D from screwing this up to badly.

The whole purpose of the WCO is to open up the running game.

Run the bootleg then run it some more I say. NU's DB's are slower than Iowa State's. Jordy Nelson's legs will probably fall off.

I thought it was to move the ball and score lots of points.    :blank:

Besides, Patton averages 4.3 YPC, Johnson 5.8 YPC, and Freeman 6.8 YPA.  Why do less of what's successful and more of what isn't?  That makes a lot of sense ... not.
