are you serious?

lol, was he supposed to pull his starters at halftime?  Nubbie deserved a worse beating than that.  This 'respect' you speak of, Nubbie did this for years and years to a lot of teams.  What goes around comes around my friend.

The Huskers are getting what they deserve this year. They used to hang 50-60-70 points on anybody they could find - and did it for decades. NOBODY should feel any sympathy for them.

If you don't understand, then I guess you're just too young to remember when they used to invade our stadium in Manhattan and cheer their team on to a 50 point win.

the first team played 1 series in the 4th quarter. so STFU!!! NU was going for 2 when they were down 40 if you want to talk about A-hole moves talk about NU.... If ku wanted to run up the score they could probablly have hung close to 90+ on them because Callahan kept trying to throw the ball and we kept getting turnovers..... Plus you guys are suppose to hate NU I figured you would be happy about the score.

No purple blooded self respecting KSU fan should ever feel sorry for NU having 76 points hung on them by anybody! I say HELL YES! GO ku! I hope they do it to them in Lincoln next year as well.

My understanding is that Mangino sent in the waterboys, cheerleaders and the trombone section of the band to finish the game, and Ganz still couldn't perform.

Question for all you stats freaks.  Is 76 the most points scored against corn in football ?

I guess if you guys don't know, I'll have to classlessly try to find out.

Thanks as well.  And if it were KSU putting 70 on nubbie i wouldve been cheering for ksu.  Its nice to see the elitists from the corn get a taste of their own.

Not at all. The Huskers gave them the short field and Kansas is just a much better team right now.
Maybe Mangino was sending a message to Osborne that He's open to his way of thinking if the money is right.

    Check me out!
there were guys I've never even heard of playing in the 4th quarter.  We were fairly conservative in the 3rd and very conservative in the 4th.

We really didn't run up the score but if you just look at the final score you might think so.

Anytime you get a chance to hang a hundred on Nebraska you take it.  Good for ku.

If there is one positive thing the bugeaters can take from the game it is the fact that Ganz lit us up yardage wise -- he just occasionally got so caught up in his passing that he threw to the wrong team.   ;)  But 400 yards is nothing to sneeze at.

I think ku ran it up a little but NU has earned every bit of it over the years.  Just think squawks, even in your most hopeful moments going into the season, did you think this would be the trash talk you would be getting at this point in the season?

    The "other" KSU
Irrelevant - if the defense is going to let you score, than score... what is the problem. Had this been us vs. ku all we would do is see this emoticon ->  all over this board. Jayhawk fan should be OK with that score; overall, it will lower the point margin from when NU did it to ku.

I am on board with Spurrier's mindset in regards to running up the score - when questioned he would say, "If that it too many points - get better and it wont happen" Who freaking cares.
