Only one.  The club president has made a mockery of meritocracy.  Intramural is only 9v9 so we don't have the depth or conditioning that they do, but there is no doubt we would beat them on our terms, I think the big field and our lack of depth would get to us in 11v11.  By the end of the season we had two guys get injured, another quit so we played the final game with one guy playing with a death eye and stitches, one out and only three guys on the bench.  If we got to expand our team to include our friends, we would beat the club team.  They just don't have the technical players and the size we do.  Then again, they also don't all smoke.

When I was President we made back to back trips to Nationals in Georgia for less than half that. 

Gawd these kids are so incompetent these days.  One of the players has to sack up and throw the hotels, cars/plans on his credit card, keep the receipts and then go through Students Activities Council or some such crap and get it reimbursed.  IF you made the national tourney you dont whine about cash you get your frackin arses down to FLA and whup some ass. 

By the way we made it out of our pool in '97.  Try and live up to the standards we set.
