Recieved this in an email

The Kansas Football team has already proven themselves to be one of the best teams in the country. After playing three of the last four on the road, the boys are coming home for two of the next three. Kansas fans understand how difficult it is to build a program from the ground up in a BCS conference, and yet that's just what Coach Mangino and his extremely competent staff have done. The coaches and the players have done their part, and now it's time for ku fans to ramp it up in supporting the team. Clearly we'll have a full house for the Huskers this weekend, but everyone needs to remember to WEAR BLUE. It's time that Memorial Stadium becomes the home field advantage that Allen Field House is for our Jayhawks. Also, let's not forget how important the Iowa State game is going to be. Undefeated or not, the ISU game is going to be critical to our post-season bowl options. Start making plans now to make it to that game. The ku Athletic Department has recently put together an outstanding ticket package for the Iowa State game and a couple of basketball games in AFH. You get four tickets to the ISU football game, four tickets to one men's non-conference basketball game and four tickets to one women's non-conference game in Allen Field House.......all for less than $200......while supplies last. Click this link to get all the details http://ev10.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetPackageInfo?packageCode=GS%3Aku%3A%3A444PK%3A&linkID=kansas&shopperContext=&caller=&appCode=&RSRC=HawkMail&RDAT=F07BK07Package10_30_07 There's never been a better time to be a Jayhawk Fan.  Come on out and support the Hawks on Saturday against Nebraska. Get your tickets for the Iowa State game today by clicking the link above......... and don't forget to WEAR BLUE! Thanks for supporting the Phog and we'll see you on the Hill  Thank you,Phog.net Staff   Scout.com - Always on our Game

It's sad when the only school that can stake claim at having the best football and basketball teams ever this year have to give away tickets

I said this before the season but I'll repeat it here.

One of my roommates from KSU is now at ku Med in KC, he said before the season he could of walked into one of the offices there and picked up free football tickets for the non-con games. Not sure about conference, I doubt it.

If ku has problems selling out games when they are undefeated and ranked in the top 10, how bad will it be when they fall back to reality and are a middle of the pack Big12 team?

In case you haven't noticed, ku's basketball season starts tonight.  This should put an end to the majority of the local coverage in all the major rags.

Sorry, I've been around here for a while but I'm still a cub.  Long lining?

It's late, I may just be missing something....
