    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Till we prove otherwise...the only game where all facets showed up was at Texas..and arguably, Texas moved the ball quite well on the defense...(also, see Okie State)...

If we have a special teams breakdown again and lose the turnover battle we'll lose.

If Kstate plays to their potential and takes care of the gotdamned mother f-ing football like they're supposed to....we win.

I think we win btw.

This is a little extreme and it won't take all facets or anything close to a complete game to beat ISU.  We could lose but we'd have to have multiple break downs in multiple areas for that to happen.  ISU is a bad team the stats prove that and their record proves that.  If we play like we did against say Oklahoma State we win this game by more then 20 points.  We have not played perfectly this year but we have not played poorly enough in any game to lose to Iowa State.  IT will take our worst effort of the season to lose on Saturday.

    The "other" KSU
The only thing that worries me it the run 'cuz there are two effective runners. I think that we will stop it enough to win, but I think that if we can get some production from Clayton Cox-ucker we should be golden. I can see us running away ala the Baylor game.

the BEST quote from that thread was:

"I hate kansas like God hates sin." sums it up for me, I am not too religeous, but I think I will adopt that for myself.

I will be absolutely shocked if KSU loses this game.  All indications are that Ron Prince is a good gameday coach and a good motivator of men.  To lose this game would mean to me that he has lost this team.  With all that has been accomplished and all that still has the potential to be accomplished this season, losing the team at this point would be nothing less than totally mind blowing.

wtf   Would be sad, no doubt.  But I have seen zero indication that he doesn't have complete control of this team.

damn, when I heard the thing about the 3 corners I was sort of hoping the 3 wouldn't include the ones mentioned who are healthy.

All three(Singleton, Bell, and McDowell) are burners.  As in can run w/ either Nelson or Murphy.

There is no reason to lose this game.  None.

With a lack of depth I doubt ISU is manning us up much anyway.  Plus Chizick saw last year what Prince's offense can do to a team that tries to play us man most of the time anyway.  I like our chances against ISU's secondary.

I think cireksu meant our pass protection, which is 3rd in the nation allowing only .75 sacks per game.

This is just like the Kstate @ Colorado game a year ago.

Will we lose? Can we lose? Are we bad enough to drop a game we should win?  I'd like to think that Jordy could beat them by himself...

He's by far the best pass catcher they've faced all year.( That includes the dbags from MU and OU.)..and against only three healthy DB's? Ummmm, matchup problems all around.

Kendrick Matthews is also a capable corner along with Otis Johnson.

I think we show up at Iowa State... Sure hope so at least.
