Oh man. Let's reminiscence about that game again.

I remember it being only 17-10 at halftime and thinking, holy hell. How are we only down 7? Surely enough, by the 5 minute mark of the 3rd quarter it was already 38-10

My brother and I considered committing suicide. Decided gainst' it.

Thank God that POS Snyder retired after that year.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I also remember the power going out when Blythe scored a Long TD.

Kansas State's freshman quarterback, Allan Evridge, was under pressure throughout the overcast afternoon from Iowa State's front seven.

Enough said.

I've just got to LOL at a fanbase that's worried about losing to Iowa State, yet in the same breath would criticize Kansas' "weak" schedule.  A fanbase that's scared of the same Iowa State team that lost to Toledo, one of Kansas' "weak" non-con opponents.

K-State are nervous about a one-win Iowa State team.  The same K-State fans that claim it's easy to win in Manhattan, Boulder, College Station, etc.  LOL.

Winning @ Kyle Field is not that hard if you are half decent. Hell, Prince demolished CU in Boulder last year, and we've won in Manhattan many times.

But Ames?  :ohno:

K-State fans... nervous about a one-win Iowa State team, but it's no big deal winning road games in places like Manhattan, Boulder, and College Station.  LOL.

We're ISU's superbowl.  Hell, we're practically everyone's superbowl.  They are all trying to get back at us for our DoD.

Who said that boulder and College Station were easy places, KSU has been getting kicked around manhattan regularly since 2000.

We will lose to Iowa State.  Mark it down. Take it to the bank. Put it in your pipe and smoke it. etc

We don't play well in Ames.

We've had two poor performances (05, 99) in Ames since "The Streaker" and one of those we managed to win.  Otherwise we've destroyed ISU in Ames.

The Wildcats' three turnovers led to 17 Iowa State points, they had a field goal attempt blocked and had to take a timeout on an Iowa State punt because they didn't have enough players on the field.

Snyder lost control of his program. His assistants weren't doing their jobs either.

Man, that 2005 game sucked so much arse Jenna Jamison would have been jealous.

I remember contimplating going down to front row of seats behind the KSU bench and screaming at the players... it was THAT bad.

Because I saw that loss in 2005 in Ames, I will be attending Saturday to get REVENGE.

For those people who say we never play well in Ames, see 2003 game. Now THAT was fun to watch in person.

I also had the pleasure of seeing the 1993 Streaker Game in person. That one was Jenna Jamison-Sucky as well.

Which song would you like to hear played between the third and fourth quarters at the ISU vs. Kansas State game?
Jump Around - House of Pain
In The Air Tonight - Phil Collins
Build Me Up Buttercup - Foundations
      Twilight Zone - 2 Unlimited
