Not exactly news to anyone...but Jordy is so much fun to watch. He does everything right on the field. He was doubled and tripled all game, so they had him do some different things and he excelled and opened areas for other players. Then he gets a few openings, and ends up with 100+ yards and then a nice little 92 yard punt return.

Jordy is slowly reaching Darren status in favorite KSU greats.

watts was terrible.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

triple teamed?  I guess.  I wasn't watching him all the time, but I don't remember them pressing him then playing a safety just on him so calling it "double teamed" is even disingenuous.

Nelson is a really great player.  Great hands, speed, throws off the first tackle, fights for YAC not to mention his ST play.  Do we really need to build a myth?

Doesn't break many tackles but I love him.

Even though he dropped that one pass  :curse:

was that the one on the goalline?  That was def. catchable but not a terrible drop.

The punt return was incredible, he had one chance at it and took it to the house.

Yes?

The only question should be where his place is in KSU history in regards to KLock and Quincy.

I don't remember, did either of them make the all america team?

Unfortunately for Jordy, his career didn't include a particularly good period of KSU football.

Let's also keep in mind that he hasn't done this with the consistency of Lockett or Quincy (Quincy only played two years though).

I'm not trying to pick on Jordy, but let's calm down.  He is having what could be considered the greatest single year of a KSU Wide Receiver evar.  That is different than what Quincy or Lockett did.

yea b/c the fact that quincy played all of 2 years at kstate makes what he did that much more incredible  :jerkoff:

you forget jordys sophomore year before everyone realized we were terrible.

I would love to see what Morgan, Terry, Lockett and Nelson would do in a Josh Freeman offense.

probably have a lot of receptions for really short yards like everyone else.  as fast and big as they were its not like we would be throwing deep to them...

QFT.  Oh if only..

Of course, I'd rather keep our current group of receivers and trade our O-line or linebackers.

Any video of the BU-KSU game? I'd like to see Nelson's one-handed catch.

When the game DVD's are mailed out to subscribers I'm sure somehting will pop up on youtube.

I saw the catch live...and I almost didn't believe what I had just witnessed. :frown:

I'm too young to remember Kevin Lockett's consistency, but I distinctly remember Morgan having a case of the dropsies for a stretch of his career, nothing too much, but over the course of a couple of games.

Nelson has pretty much been a sure set of hands for the last two years, and was making some pretty good plays his sophomore year too.  The touchdown catch against Mizzou in Snyder's last game comes to mind.

2000 OU was enough to keep Q from ever being considered.   :curse: :curse: :curse:

People criticizing Quincy Morgan in favor of Jordy.  Wow.  Jordy is a much more complete player (passing, returning) but look at Quincy's numbers.  He had 2,100 yards and 23 receiving TDs in 2 years.

Jordy?  100 more yards with an extra year and only 16 receiving TDs.  I am aware that there was a disparity in surrounding talent, but let's be serious.
