I'm just sick of it.

Gawd, just once I want a KSU basketball team that when they play somebody like Baylor ... you know that barring something really strange happening you know they're gonna beat the every loving dog poop out of them.

Just once (once for an extended period that is) I want to be able to think that a sucky year is 4th place and 7th NCAA seed.

Frankly who gives a F_ck if this is or isn't Wooldridge's most talented team.

Just make the god damn NCAA tourny for once and lets get on with it.

I hate to use this, but as PhogFan150 puts it, the next time I read about how "tough" Wooldridge has had it at KSU I just may fight that person.

I really agree with what you're saying Dax.

Say what you will about talent, but this team still "hopes" to win rather than "demand" to win.

They still get that deer in the headlights look and give EVERY GODDAM TEAM A TEN POINT LEAD ON THE ROAD.

They still have the "here we go again" mentality that has been present since Larry Reid left.

The thing is, Dax, no one cares about NCAA tourneys.  They don't care about dominating horrible teams on the road.  All they care about is having a nice guy who tries hard, beats ku once every six years, and says the right things.  Until the mentality of KSU and its fan base changes, the results will stay the same.

I love it when people say it's because "it's tough to recruit to Manhattan."

Nobody says you gotta have 5 McD AA's ... but you can't tell me that a good coach couldn't bring what has always lead to success at KSU ... a couple of studs surrounded by good players.

At the end of this season, it won't (or at least shouldn't) matter if it was his best team or not...or if the Big 12 is down...just get the f'n Ws and get to the tourney.

Who are you preaching 2? If we don't win this year he is gone, if he wins (10+ in conference play...which is what we expect) he stays.

If Weiser doesn't hold himself to the standards he set at the end of last year...then we can bitch about KSU fans "mentality"

This why I began my meltdown promptly after the ku loss in the tourny when we decided to keep him despite him falling WELL short of the min expectations.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

What if we go 6-10 and then proceed to win the Big 12 tourney?

Weiser didn't hold himself to the standards he set for last year (no one but you, me, and Keitz thought it was a bad idea).  Why should I think he will this time?

Jim stays if he goes 8-8 and makes the NIT, he stays.  I guarantee a ton of fans would be happy about it, too.

If he stays after 8-8 or 9-7 I'll be uterrly depressed.

It must be 10-6.

You want to be ku.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Wow. So you basically got tickets for the games where ICAT has no impact at all?
