    The very best.
I probably wouldn't go anyway.

if you were allowed, and someone to go with, you would.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Kids.

I'll go to tons of bball games, though.

Easier to handle during the short games.

Back to ETT:  Matt Walters just sounds dumb independent of what he is saying.

You guys could always start a petition and take it to the network or athletic department. Would you keep Stan and just replace Wyatt and Matt??

If it were up to me I'd get rid of the whole crew.   I simply can't deal with the Stanbot and his ceaseless drivel, Wyatt is lost 75% of the time and usually a good 5 seconds behind th play, and Walters is just annoying.

But, many of the powertards love Stan because he worships at the Mitch Holthus school of KSU spin and can spin for 5 minutes without taking a breath.

mw is horrible.  his voice and delivery are truly unfortunate.

it is entirely possible that the content of what he says borders on genius.  there is really no way to know.  no one could possible listen to his droning/booming (how does he do both!) presentation and manage to listen for content.

btw, rusty, please have your sis get mb to hook me up w. comp tix.  tia.

Seriously.  I give up.  ksdb, you win.  I hope you did all of this on company time and you are getting one hell of a letter of recommendation from Walters.  I'm sure that holds a tremendous amount of weight in the broadcasting community.

I have to come to Matt's defense.  I think he's the best sideline reporter in the time I've been listening to KSU Football.  He's also a great baseball guy.  We're lucky as listeners to have him on the Network.

Actually an audition tape (or CD, things may have changed since my day) holds more weight than a recommendation or resume.

pissclams is a former broadcaster, I wonder what he thinks of Mr. Walters?  (unless he likes him.  I only want to hear criticism)
I think he's bush league.  But a lot of things that are close to our athletic dept are or were bush league until very recently (see Post-Snyder era).  He knows KSU and that's his obvious strength and one that would be pretty hard to replace imo.  Similar to Stan in that respect.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I like Matt Walters.  I think he's a great guy and have met him on a couple of occasions.  His deep base voice and slow deliberate speaking makes him easy to understand and follow along.  He seems to strive to do it right, but perhaps is still uncomfortable and doesn't seem comfortable yet.  He is a great technical expert, and I think if I were him, I would spend less time trying to banter with Stan, but more to try and give perspective on the sideline of his own.

I can't remember the guy who did it in 2003, (I call him the flonaise guy) but he was on the sidelines during the 2003 CCG.   Matt could take a page from his book.

Stan is great technical color guy, but seems to take forever to get to the point.

Wyatt seems lost up there this year.   I think he's hurrying or something.

And Kat Kid.. stick a fork in it.  You're done.

Some of you guys are damn picky sob's.  Stan is about the best at his business as I've heard, it's his voice that bugs me but I'd never want to lose him over.  Matt does okay given the few seconds of air time he gets.  I mean, who really needs to hear from a sideline reporter anyway unless he's providing some snippet of info on an injured player.  He's a hell of a lot better than Jack I'm on crack Arute (sp?).  Again like Stan the voice is weird, to me he sounds a lot like the Chiefs sideline guy, can't think of his name at present but I hate listening to him.

When I moved to KC back in 89' I heard him on the radio doing a sports talk show my first day in town and he was going on and on about how KSU needed to move to DII and save the money they were spending on Snyder and in trying to compete with Big 8 schools.  I called the station manager and lit him up about the jerkoff, probably because of his voice more than anything.

Wyatt needs to go to DII.

Okay, I thought he was horrible a long time ago.  Listen to "The Game" from 4:00 to 6:00 and hear how slow he talks, how monotone he is, and how you can hear the pieces of paper he's reading word for word in the background.  As far as his sideline reporting goes, people may think he's doing a good job, but he's not doing what a sideline reporter is supposed to do.  He's trying to do Stan's job because that's the job he wants.  Actually, he wants Wyatt's job but after the network chose Brian over him to do woman's basketball he knows that's never going to happen.  And for any of those people out there who think he is such a nice guy and that he does such a good job, keep this in mind: you've only met him in public where his unbelievable desire to impress people and cockyness makes him be nice to people.  Behind closed doors he is the biggest jerk and the most errogant human being you will ever meet.  He is hated by everyone at Manhattan Broadcasting including people who work for Z96.3, B104.7, and 101.5 KROCK, stations he isn't even on the air for. He was basically fired from his job as program director at KMAN because Aaron Lieker was thinking about leaving and Manhattan Broadcasting program director Rich Wortell thought it was more important to keep him happy than Matt and decided to demote Matt to the sales staff.  He might think of this as a stab in the back, but if it weren't for him thinking he was God's gift to everybody in the world, he would realize he was a horrible program director.

So one guy comes on here, makes a couple of posts, one of them to diss Matt Walters and deletes his account.   And why does he post from the McCall facility?

Now Kat Kid is creaming himself?

Yeah, I'd like to hear from ksudb myself to see where this goes.

I assume you're talking about me, although how you can turn a four-letter word into five is a mystery.

Am I supposed to be responding to the post that said that Matt's 'cockyness' makes him nice??
