ku is going to go 5-3 in conference.  I honestly think that is the record they'll have with losses at A&M, at OSU and to Missouri.  That is what I predicted they would do after they beat us and I've seen nothing since to make me change my mind.  They escaped at CU but CU isn't as good as those other three teams and it's not even very close.

We're going to be favorites in our next 3 games.  Some are writing off the NU game but in my mind the game at Ames is the toughest of our next 3.  NU is bad bad bad right now look what OSU did to them and we're every bit as good as OSU.  They've been blown out in Lincoln 3 times already this season.  Take care of business in our next 3 and the Missouri game is going to be for the North title.  I'm not saying we'll win that game because I'm not crazy about our chances but I honestly think that game will be for the North.  In a one game scenario at home anything can happen.

Some on here like to whine and be drama queens but our team is pretty good.  They compete like hell and are not scared to play on the road.  Josh is playing better all the time and the o-line is coming together.  Defense has some holes but we're going to match up much much better with the teams we play the next few weeks.  Missouri game is going to be another game where we don't match up on D but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.   We knew these early games would be tough but you've got to hang in there some of you trike riders are jumping ship right as the schedule is about to turn in our favor.

Yes we are.  Whether our team is good or not doesn't matter.  Other teams are better, ku and MU, specifically in the North.  Our defense is bad and that's not a reaction to one game, its a reaction to the past 3 games (that we're 1-2 in) where we've been owned by the other team's rushing.  We only match up better with teams who's offenses are just bad enough that they can't take full advantage of how bad our defense is (see CU).

Doesn't really matter if the other teams are better then us.  Matters if ku is better then A&M at college station, OSU at Stillwater, and Missouri on a neutral field.  I don't think they are.  They don't match up well with any of those teams and all of them whipped ku last year.  MU is clearly better then us but it's one game at home maybe we pull the upset.  I didn't say we'd win the North I'm just saying win the next three which we are obviously capable of and I think we'll have a chance.

Our defense is what it is we match up with who we match up with.  I agree with your assessment but I think the next three we face fall into that catagory of bad enough not to take full advantage.

They are, they are, and the last one doesn't matter because K-State isn't beating Mizzou anyway.

FWIW, ku still hasn't played anyone.  Their only win against a good team was their superbowl victory a couple of weeks ago.

ku will beat a&M and lose to OSU and will play Mizzou for the North title. We will lose to Iowa State.

ku will lose at Oklahoma State.  I'd pretty much bet the farm on it. &@#%, they barely won in Boulder and OSU is a much better team than CU.  A&M on the otherhand, well, I could see ku winning that one, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they lost.

ku will lose by 3 scores at Arrowhead.  It won't be pretty.

Having said that, I think K-state has an extremely low chance of winning the north, but a chance nonetheless.

    THE b IS NOT CAPITALIZED
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70

Yeah, it's not like OU lost in Boulder this year or anything. ku is a good team, any conference road win is a good win, unless its Baylor of course. IDK why you would bet the farm that ku loses at OSU. ku did beat us this year you know, and we almost (should have) won in Stillwater. ku's offense should roll up 40+ points against the Pokes. Basically, Mizzou and ku are better than us and we will not win the North so let's just quit being delusional and find a more realistic goal.

Wait, Boulder is tougher than Stillwater because OU blew a fourth quarter lead there earlier this season? Right...that logic isn't flawed or anything.

You think ku's offense will put up 40 points in a game?  I sure as hell don't.  They scored 19 on Colorado and Colorado's defense is a complete joke.  Granted, Oklahoma State's defense isn't anything special either, but you can bet your ass that ku is going to need to score 35+ to win in Stillwater.  I don't think Sparky and Co. have it in them.

God you're a team cancer.

    The "other" KSU
In Stillwater, I like OSU... we all know that ku hasn't faced an offense like OSUs - in all honesty, their QB is a legit dual threat (for the 1st down at least) AND he can pass the ball. Talib was burned by Freeman, so he might be slightly overrated. One other thing, I dont think that ku has faced a running back like OSUs... that guy appears to be a stud. The honeymoon might be over for ku - BUT that's what I thought when they went to CU.
