WHY did Prince elect to kick the field goal to tie instead of going for it and maybe getting 7? It was pretty much obvious that our D wasn't going to stop them.

6 freaking fumbles, and that punt muff thing had to be the luckiest play ever.  Without that they lose.  Really Kstate just gave this game away with three fumbles inside OSU's 35.

Relying on the other team taking it easy on you is not a good way to win games.

Problem is, since the defense wasn't stopping them, Prince couldn't take the chance of going for it on 4th down and not making it. Turning the ball over on downs, still trailing by three with the defense sieving like it was, just wasn't an option. Not in tonights game.

Stanbot and the Iraqi defense minister Wyatt Thompson can spin it 1000 ways about how "wonderful" a game this was. We lost because we crap down our legs every opportunity we had to control the game and ultimately to win it in the end.

 I like Prince, but I really wish we would run the ball more and use the clock. Its just not his philosophy. We should still end up around 7-5 or 8-4 if we are lucky which isn't a bad thing. I'm still spoiled from the Snyder years though.
