Sophomore TB Patton was a 4-star, and Senior James Johnson was a 4-Star JUCO TB.   OSU does not have a 4-star TB on the roster.

Freeman was a 4-star QB who is huge at 6-6, and he started as a TRUE freshman.

I know that OSU fans love to be in love with our players, but you really need to look around and see what others have and what others are doing....

Wow that is one amazing post.
So, somehow, because you logged onto a message board, and read a quote that another guy wrote about Wefald, Wefald is "in your face?"  I'll go along with that.  I wish Hemmingway would get off my nuts.

This is one of those games that could go either way, but historically, in Big 12 play, OSU is an on again, off again team.  They rarely put together two games in a row where they blow the other team out.  Consequently, KSU seems to be finding it's offensive rhythm and matches up well with OSU's defense.   I don't think OSU has faced a faster defense than KSU, but KSU should be able to handle OSU's offense.

What scares me is that OSU has a penchant for becoming a shoot out team.   Our plan should be to get a 2 possession lead as quickly as possible.

Patton was a 4 star?

I don't think so (unless they us Scout's rankings).  I was probably a 4 star on Scout.

Could you please describe a situation in which this shouldn't be the plan?  TIA

I'm kinda surprised that most of them are not more optimistic about their chances.  I feel that if we go down there and get a win it will be somewhat of a very mild upset.

Yeah, that was his response when, after he cited scheduling as the reason for K-State's domination of the stats, I showed him the Sagarin SOS rankings (KSU: #14, OSU: #41). He was pretty much done then. But he's getting a new job soon!

Shouldn't Jordy be on that list, too?  I haven't looked, but catching over 10 balls in a game twice can usually put a player up there.  Maybe he meant Jordy instead of Murphy.

With this offense I think it's more of a consequence of the particular defense we happen to be playing.....I don't see that our offense is getting any more of a rhythm, it's just CU's defense is < UT < ku

Seriously, they suck at getting sacks and they're defense as a whole is questionable with the secondary coverage being the worst. Our passing game should be able to move the ball at will. Watch Jordy burn.

Parrish Cox is a decent cover man and will be on Jordy most of the game. I think that leaves Deon Murphy and Mastrud in favorable matchups. We've got to get something going on the ground.

It'll be a defensive secondary game plan similar to what ku did against us.  Their best corner will not mirror Jordy.  If he does, that locks them into man coverage.  Considering their secondary isn't the best, man-to-man nearly 100% of the time isn't the best option.  Jordy will likely have 8 catches or more again.

That's a great idea....then he can come over here and people will start posting pictures of Dexter Manley trying to read.  He'll really enjoy that.
