Chain of Events
- NU hires Pederson
- Pederson fires Solich (10-3 Alamo Bowl)
- Pederson hires fired Raiders coach Callahan after circus-like coaching search (he goes 5-6)
- Callahan has an 8-4 season with an Alamo bid and a 9-5 season with a Cotton bid and a Big 12 North title
- NU extends Pederson's contract
- Pederson extends Callahan's contract
- NU has back to back blowout losses
- NU fires Pederson
- NU hires new AD (maybe Osborne)
- Osborne fires Callahan and staff
- Osborne re-hires Solich

Hiring a bunch of Sooner croonies really helped OU back in the mid 90's . . . losing seasons, $10 million dollars in debt etc. etc. etc.
