I've always believed that any game between similarly ranked opponents should be close and that if the higher ranked team wins by 2 or 3, then things are just right. So by rights, a team like Tennessee should be favored by about 2 pts over Georgeia on a neutral field, maybe up to 5 with home field.
That being said, what do you think the Vegas spread would be if the following teams played ku in a neutral setting?
Southern Cal
Florida
Hawaii
Auburn
Texas
I'd have to think that USC and Florida, ranked just ahead of ku, could be anywhere from 12-20 pt favorites. Hawaii and Auburn might be anywhere from a push to 10 pt favorites. Texas I'd put around 13.
That doesn't sound like ku is ranked where they should be.
