2 Seasons ... 13 losses.

One dimensional offense in 2004, sociopathic handling of QB's in 2005, piss poor defense and crap special teams both years ... absolute $hit at taking care of the football both years, mental mistakes and penalites all damn day.

All point to serious decline in coaching and talent.

OK! Chill out.

Sorry for remembering the good times of our legendary coach.  :banghead:
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Ok.

But when are you going to chill out about recruiting and bitching about a coaching staff who hasn't even coached one real game, and signing day is 8 months away??

You are worried about it as well.

You are worried about it as well.

I've got a lot more in my life to "worry" about then football recruiting.  But I am concerned, just like I have been concerned every year for 30 years about KSU's recruiting and coaching.

You have turned things like the 1999 recruiting class into some delusion of grandeur ... that was a nice class, but KSU didn't go toe-to-toe with any of the recruiting super powers that year and land one kid.   Buhl ... it was between KSU and Solich ... wow!! Tough Choice there.  Roberson ... what??  A 3 star recruit maybe.

That's why I don't get it.  Our best players over the years were recruiting "nobodies" and suddenly you've deluded yourself into thinking we should land 25 of the Rivals Top 100.   Recruiting has changed ... which is one reason we had no depth at the O-line, and started walkons at DE.

I think it was 1999 when on the season we had 2302 passing yards and 2302 rushing yards.

How many rushes and passes, though?  Balance isn't about yardage, it's about play distribution.  We've been a run-oriented team for quite a while now.  Unfortunately, our running quarterbacks were not the most accurate passers.  They just weren't.

Oh christ....

Here's another one that makes me laugh.  I see people on the net saying "Prince had MEGA TALENT" at Virginia and didn't do anything with it.

BS ... he had MEGA talent one year, and they were the highest rated offense in the ACC and the 24th best offense in the country, plus here's the deal.  That same year .... the ACC had EIGHT .... THAT's EIGHT of the Top 30 defenses in the Country, including #1, #4, #7, and #12.

KSU's offense when clicking was a thing a beauty, but it never played an entire game.   Even in the ku mauling in 2002, Snyder reigned it in.

I have no doubt that Prince has been consulting with Snyder on the offense, and from what I heard from Catbackers in Beloit, apparently, he and Franklin have been students in the Snyder offense.

It would just totally kick ass if on the first play of the game in the first game if we saw an option to the short side of the field with Florida Atlantic expecting a WCO play.

wouldnt it be better to run WCO plays against them the whole game and do that to a team that was actually decent?

I'm glad you finally agree with me.

Look Rusty!  It's Hawker13 reincarnated as a KSU fan.

We're going to get blown out a lot this year due to Snyder's stupid, sluggish run offense.

We won't get blown out because of said sluggish run offense, we might keep some games close enough to win, voila! :beerchug:

not really, no
I'd much rather have a 69 year old coach than one that weighs 400+ pounds.
