Isn't it funny how chickenhawk fans say that 59-55 was just a freak instance and luck, but winning at Manhattan once in over a decade makes them big 12 road warriors in football!     FYI - Anything can happen in one game... you will have to string together a few more before you get too much creditability.

Are you implying that winning in Boulder is tougher than winning in Manhattan?

Who cares about 59-55?

Am I?

Listen, it's ok, I get it.  If my team were one of the half dozen undefeated teams, but still couldn't garner enough respect to crack the top half of the polls, I'd be pretty salty too.  I might even lower myself to lashing out on a rival-but-not-our-real-rival's message board, no matter how irrational that might seem.  I'd feel so much better.  Stupid South Florida.  What do they have that I don't?

ku is just as good, if not better, than South Florida and Boston College.

south florida actually played 2 BCS teams in their non-conference.

South Florida beat a top 5 (or were they sixth?) WVU team and a top 15 Auburn team on the road (same Auburn team that beat Florida). ku's best victory is against a 24th ranked KSU team that was coming off of a huge road win while ku was coming off of a bye week. You don't even come close to being as good as USF.

Winning on the road in Manhattan is much more difficult than winning in Boulder.  The last time ku was this good, we went into Boulder and beat then #4 Colorado.  Kansas is ranked #15 in both polls, and 13th in the BCS.  I couldn't be happier with the way ku has played at this point.

Their best win was on the road against an Auburn team that has an incredible defense but a below average offense.  K-State out-played Auburn for 3 quarters and couldn't seal the deal in the 4th.  ku beat South Florida, 13-7 last season, with Kerry Meier starting at QB and a terrible pass defense.  I think both teams have improved since last season, but I would take ku on a neutral field any day of the week.

Do the hollow words silence all of the self-doubt, or are they simply an echo chamber for your own frustration?  Why don't they love us?  Why don't they fear us?  15!?  But we're undefeated!

Calm down, man, it's ok.  I have a suggestion that will make everything better.

    I'm impossible to fool.
ku is not a top 10 team right now.  I'm hesitant calling us a top 15 team even.

I do think that we're a legit top 20 at this point in time.  If we can come out of Boulder and College Station unscathed, I think we'd be legit top 15.

your ONLY road win was against us.  i don't want to get into the ku/KSU game again, but we pretty much outplayed you for 3+ quarters just like we outplayed auburn for 3+ quarters.  so are you really trying to downplay auburn?  in case you forgot, that auburn team beat florida.  just admit it, south florida is much better than ku and everyone who really matters (coaches and sports analysts) is in agreement about it.

There's not just one win, but it's the way ku has won, and the fact we beat South Florida last season with a team that isn't nearly as good as the '07 edition.  Plus, I don't think Boston College is anything special.  Just my opinion, and Lou Holtz agrees.

You're counting a win from last year now?  Are you serious?  ku is good this year, but no matter how good they get, or how many wins they rack up, their fans will still know dick about football.

Didn't you know?  If you beat a team last year, you're automatically better than them this year.  Even if the team is Top2 or 3 in every poll and #2 in the BCS.  Seems logical.

I'd say ku is better than all the teams we beat last year, including K-State.
