I love ya Dax, but if you're talking about yesterday, it might have been the weather.  Something about 45 mph wind gusts, torrential rain, and dangerous lightning storms.  Throw on top of that a 2 hour delay and I'll give them some slack.

But other than that, they are still ku and still suck.

    Check me out!
I think the weather and the fact that there is nothing else to do west of lawrence are the major factors.

True, but I don't think that necessarily trumps an 8:30 start.  A large part of the fans are from Johnson County. They could wait until the all clear is called and get over to Lawrence pretty quickly

Let's be real, fliers were going around the Olathe school district offering FREE ku tickets for this game. Not all of those 43,000 were even paid customers. Giving away tickets to pump up attendance has been a Lew Perkins strategy since he has been at ku.

The fixation continues...

The REAL question in regard to attendence should be....WHY didn't K-State sell-out for last night's game?

I was at Oak Park mall just before halftime of the ku game, and I saw lots of folks wearing the crimson and blue.  OK, fine...you don't want to drive a whopping half-hour over to Lawrence to see your team play.  But you're not even going to watch it on TV?

ku doesn't deserve a top 25 football team.  Their "fans" and their school, like their football team (as pointed out by the gameday crew), are all frauds.

Same here.

My ku coworker who decided to rub it in last week said this:

Him: "So how about that game huh?"
Me: "Yeah how about it."
Him: "Well I didn't actually watch it but great game huh?"
Me: " "

This coming from the fanbase who couldn't sell out their savior's last home game.  The man who made KSU football relevent couldn't even get a full house.  I didn't see a sellout at the Bill last night for a night kickoff and a nationally televised game against the Big 12 North leader.  Attendance smack is weak in the first place.  Really weak coming from you all.

qfmft.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Game was entertaining for a while.  Got silly in the second half.  Baylor could do nothing on offense, save a few good runs in the first half.  I waited out the weather delay in the garage of the house we park at for tailgating.  Had a few brews and some brisket.  Very nice.  The weather was ridiculous all morning, into early afternoon; but once it passed, it was a beautiful afternoon.

Attendance smack is very weak considering both schools didn't sell out yesterday for a
Big 12 home game.  I don't care what the excuses are.  K-State/Colorado had a lot of empty seats as did ku/Baylor.

No there won't be.  ku was given the majority of the tickets and expects to have around 55,000 at Arrowhead when ku plays Mizzou.

Your team is undefeated, ranked 20th in the country . . . 7000 empty seats.
