Viers was part of the 2006 Wildcat recruiting class as a 255-pound defensive end, but five weeks into the season he was asked to give offensive tackle a try. When springtime came, he slid to center.

geezus. Please Prince, find the next D'Brickashaw. We're dying to have someone All-Big 12 on the line. Or, you could just be content with Freeman running for his life every down off three step drops.

It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Please tell me that was a screen..............

If it was a screen, Josh Freeman didn't know.

That is the last "real" play of the game.  About a second in a half after this screenshot the best CB in the nation* A.Talib baits GBJosh into throwing a duck into his arms.

I rewatched the game yesterday and watched this play over and over....its unreal how quickly ku got off the ball on this play...it looked like they knew the snap count better than the 0-line.

baits Josh?  It was 4th and 8 he was under heavey pressure and had to throw the ball somewhere.   What was he suppossed to do throw it away?  Talib gets/got way too much credit he didn't play well on Saturday you won the game upfront and the interior line deserves the credit for the win and for that interception.

We have had trouble with line stunts going back to last year, looks like not much has changed, that is pathetic.

For that situation that is really bad.  It looks like we had several mix ups and they split a double team.  For that particular situation, that is pretty bad.

However, let's not freak out too much over that one pic.  We do know that we have work to do up front, but there were times saturday where we protected fairly well.  I'm much more concerned about run blocking that pass protection.  The fact that we couldn't run block consistently, especially in the 2nd half, is a major factor why we were put in that situation in the first place IMO.

no kidding.  I can't recall seeing anything Talib did Saturday that was impressive.  The TD catch was one ANYBODY in the country can make as nobody covered him after the LB and two DB's didn't communicate on the rub rout.  And, as you said, the 4th & 8 was a jump ball that Freeman just had to take a chance and throw it up to get rid of it given the pressure...and he was throwing into 8 dropping for ku.  Wow, "great" play by Talib.

Tough call to make when it's 4th and 8 and our OL has been playing so splendidly the entire second half.

Yeah running to the sideline to get calmly talked to.  At least they were able to snap the ball before Alesana false started.
So, somehow, because you logged onto a message board, and read a quote that another guy wrote about Wefald, Wefald is "in your face?"  I'll go along with that.  I wish Hemmingway would get off my nuts.

Still in denial?  That's funny.

I don't seem to recall K-State's line having much trouble against Texas.

We put up more yards and scored more offensive points against ku than UT. We just didn't turn it over as much and didn't get anything from our special teams.  Credit ku for a better gameplan.

I've watched the game 4 times now on the DVR where I can look at a play over an over with little effort, and Talib got owned all day by various receivers.   He was repeatedly a step too late in his coverage.   Patterson was lost on D, again, and let him have a free TD.  JF's pass was desperation to keep the ball in play while attempting to gain enough for a 1st down.   I saw absolutely nothing from him to impress, in fact quite the contrary.

Does it make anyone else  :crybaby: to know that ku's only good player played like crap and we still lost?
