I never thought he was going to play for us anyhow - USC has my bet.  I do however think we will see B. Brown in purple.

If anything it improves our chances. If you look at his list, every on of those teams have had recent issues with the NCAA. We were one of the few until now. Ron Prince is doing his best to get us the best players.

If they loved them that much they both would have already committed.  You don't say, "I love the coach, I love the O-coordinator, I love the cats!" and then continue to shop yourselves around to other universities.

And please hold off on the weak argument about them wanting to do what's best for their future.  If you're good enough to play in the NFL it doesn't matter if you go the KSU or USC... you're going to get your shot.  Example:  T-Newman.

I know it's the "OMG we lost to ku?  They're HORRIBLE in football!" syndrome, but when you look at reality..

OU's defense got beat by a CU team that won two games last year, including a loss to a DI-AA team that lost to a D2 team the very next week.

Our defense got beat by an offense that lead the NCAA in a lot.  Against cupcakes sure, but they weren't bad offensively last year either.

And then USC's defense losing to Stanford..with a backup quarterback..at home.

I don't think it hurt us really at all.  Even if USC and OU were still undefeated I don't think the ku game would hurt us in the eyes of the Brown bros.

Can I ask anyone who cares a question? Why do these chippers go to these programs where there are other guys as good/better than them on the roster so that they might have to sit for 1-2 yrs before they play? i.e. Mark "Dirty" Sanchez - top rated qb in country a couple of years back goes to USC and hasn't started yet. It makes no sense to me at all. Yeah, I know that they have a better shot at a ring (that's the obvious answer), but these top tier teams are one CU, So Fla, or Stanford away from being out of the BCS title. Why not come to a team that NEEDS you, so you can dominate from the day you arrive on campus?

I guess, I win the Master of the Obvious award today - I will be expecting my huge box of nothing in the mail this week, thank you and good night.
