Where exactly is the line that journalists are not supposed to cross when it comes to tampering with a prospect's recruitment by any given institution?  Does a line even exist?  So far, we have several in the media going pretty hard with the dirty negative recruiting against KSU.  Guys are writing articles with the express intention of sabatoging KSU recruiting efforts.  Some of the stuff could even be classified as libel or defamation of character directed against our head coach.

We are talking about high school kids here.  It's a sad day when multiple journalists are using their position as "legitimate" members of the media to steer kids in the direction they would like to see them go instead of letting kids make their own decisions.

Here's the thing ... how do we really know. 

Think about it.  We had a coach who lost a ton of close games that KSU had a chance to win.  How many times under Wooly (and Asbury and Altman) did KSU have a chance to win or tie and when it came down to coaching having to make something happen ... KSU came out with some impotent half assed, flailing shot that wasn't even close??

Meanwhile, you've got a 6-9 kid who when he gets to play has shot 1.000% from the floor ... but not once, not freaking once, not even in a personnel by possession/court postion situation did Wooly even put the kid in just to try something different ... a drive and a kick out to the kid to try and hit a 3. 

So, did Yearby even get a chance?? 

Some kids just have the knack to get things done even if they don't look at that impressive ... you just gotta give them a chance.
